Not a lot of promotion, no major star cast to boast about, and not big box office numbers too. Still, giving it a go was a good choice, as it surprised me in a positive way.

This is a story about a friendly PT teacher in a school who has been brought up to be timid and warned not to get involved in any problems because an astrologer predicted he might die if he does. As fate would have it, he finds the girl next door has been molested and ridiculed, and he decides to stand up for her, taking the influential man responsible to court.

Hiphop Tamizh Adhi plays the leading man, but unfortunately, he struggles to express himself and lacks the aura of a hero. Kashmira Pardeshi has a minimal role, while Anikha Surendran shines brightly even in her brief appearance. I wished she had more screen time. Seasoned actors Thiagarajan, Prabhu, Ilavarasu, and Devadarsini Sukumaran perform their parts decently.

The story is engaging, but it falters when the courtroom drama unfolds. The court scenes are overly cinematic and illogically written, with absurdity peaking at the twist reveal. The twist felt unnecessary for the statement they were trying to make.

Despite its flaws, the film has many elements in its favor. The songs are good, and the choreography enhances each musical piece. The story's setting and the conveyed message are clear.

So, I accidentally stumbled upon "PT Sir" and boy, did it reinforce my belief that Adhi should probably stick to something other than acting-like, say, knitting or underwater basket weaving. Watching him attempt to act is like witnessing a dramatic reenactment of a potato trying to convince itself it's a carrot.

Now, onto the movie itself, which I can only describe as the cinematic equivalent of trying to microwave spaghetti without any water. It starts off with some noble intention about raising awareness for a serious issue, but then veers off into a wilderness of confusion and ineptitude. It's like they threw a dart at a board of social issues and decided to tackle the one they hit, but with all the grace of a blindfolded bull in a china shop.

And the climax-oh boy, don't get me started on that. It's like they ran out of ideas halfway through and just decided to wrap it up with a finale so mind-numbingly absurd that even the actors looked like they were wondering if they left the oven on at home.

But the real cherry on top? The movie ends with this sanctimonious tone, like it's just given us the secret to world peace in the form of a poorly delivered monologue. I half expected the credits to roll with a disclaimer: "No brains were harmed in the making of this film, because none were used."

In conclusion, "PT Sir" is about as enjoyable as a root canal performed by a dentist who got his degree from a cereal box. Do yourself a favor and skip this one-it's like trying to find a diamond in a coal mine, but all you end up with is a lump of coal with delusions of grandeur.

Went to watch this movie with no idea and no expectations about the plot but the movie was really good. Must watch! Hip hop tamizha acting semma!..music semma!..all the other actors and the whole crew did a good job as well. Dialogues was delivered perfectly and the sequence of the scenes were all brilliant. And the plot twist..best part of the movie..theatre la goosebumps moment tha!....

Apart from the acting and entertainment part.....the message being the whole point of the story was really good and the movie did make justice on a whole... Nice!.

I've never watched any of Adhi's movies before, but always assumed him to be a bad actor. Well, with "PT Sir", I learned that I was in fact correct in my assessment, but I didn't expect the extent to which I was. This guy is not just bad in that he can't act, no, he's bad in that he tries to, thinking of himself as a better actor than he really is, and the delusion in that is just sad and painful to watch.

Now on to the movie itself... it was trash. The movie in its essence tries to raise awareness about a very real and legitimate social issue, but seeing them go about it in the most directionless, unthoughtful lip-service, rage bait kinda way makes it all the more insufferable. It's bad when watching and worse in hindsight. It starts off as one thing, and then just deviates into something else entirely, making whatever it was originally about as pointless as the rest. And as if that wasn't insulting enough, they just had to end the movie with one of the most brain dead facepalm climaxes you could come up with. It was infuriating, more so because it was done with a boisterous tone of moral superiority that just screams condescension.

Maybe watering down a social issue to be as basic and as rage baiting as possible to reach a wider audience might not be the worst idea, but it only works when you know that this is watered down for reach and not the actual issue itself... something you don't get from this movie. There was very little to enjoy and even little to learn from. Skip this.

It was a wonderful movie the music and twist made the acting and direction to next level ,there was not a single clue what is going to happen next ,I have seen lots of movie but this movie had the best suspense ever to have goosebumps,thanks alot crew team for a wonderful treat.loved it every minute of this movie ,comedy ,love , family,social awareness, social responsibility , everything covered this movie should be celebrated and hatsoff to hip hop tamizha for taking this script,no one can ever play this role better than him and the bgms were more than satisfactory,loved the movie a lot guys .

Excellent movie on a very important topic. Women are still blamed for mistakes of rogues, just because the society is too timid to take on the criminals. A very nice attempt to showcase the problems faced by women.

The climax has an interesting twist. I am not stating it to avoid a spoiler. The courtroom drama is very interesting due to this unexpected twist at the end. It is important that movies like this get a wider reach and that it is discussed in schools and colleges, so young girls grow with confidence.

The idea of magic wall was also quite interesting and it is nice to see mental health being discussed.

The movie is too predictable right from the first scene. You cannot resonate with a hero who would leave his engagement at the last minute. The last act was baffling and appears the makers wanted it to be a twist, so it was a twist. But it hardly evokes any surprise given the long duration with dull screenplay that precedes. There is a 1980s trope of ppl asking the hero to be a savior and fight ppl and a lecture session. The second half was terrible to watch with a fight, typical villain and a typical hero worship adding nothing to the drama. The music was flat. It looks everything was kept just for it to be there.

The movie tells that no matter what happens to a Women/Man should come forward and report it without any fear and self blame and Parents/Guardian should support them so they can handle the pressure from the society and deal with it and with Their support the affected individuals will be confident and mentally strong. The legal system is fair to everyone and no matter how powerful He/She is in the society they will be held and will be punished for their crime but all this will only happen when they report it to POCSO so this can be dealt at the root and not to be grown to be a gaint tree. This movie doesn't only show about what happens to women but it also says to always respect and choose the legal system for problems that can't be solved by individuals. And the movie depicts when someone tries to cheat the legal system i.e it shows the punishment even if what the individual did is correct or wrong they will punished for cheating the Law.
