If you are more into nerd sports (chess, robotics, etc) than athletics, then this movie is for you. The mocumentary looks at the competitive world of nerd sports, namely lego type building competition. The competition is fierce. And the nerd always comes out on top (well because they are all nerds).

I saw this film at a festival and was pleasantly surprised on all counts. You never know what to expect going in blind to a movie like this, but I found it to be not only hilarious, but have a lot of heart as well. Brick Madness is about a national "Brix" tournament and all the people who take it so seriously even though it's just about building LEGO.
The movie is an indie with a small budget, but I think it felt just like any other movie - in a good way - it didn't feel cheap or low budget, it just felt REAL. Okay, the characters are a little over the top at points, but I think that's part of the charm. It really was a fun movie. If you get a chance to check it out at a festival or whenever it gets released, I highly recommend it.

Absolutely loved this film! The true sign of a good mockumentary is one that lovingly makes fun of its subject without betraying the fact that the filmmakers are also fans and lovers of the subject. Brick Madness lovingly skewers the world of brick building, but is never cruel or mean-spirited. Fun for everyone with great performances from some really funny folks. Waiting for Brick Madness 2: Electric Brickaloo.

Brick Madness is a Mocumentary about the ins and outs of the Adult LEGO community. It's hilarious and moves at a good pace. If you've ever attended a LEGO convention or if you or your children are REALLY into LEGO Bricks you will totally understand this fabulously funny and well done movie. Hats off to the filmmaker.

I loved this movie from the first scene until the credits rolled! Super creative, the writer and director should be super proud!
It was hilarious, with non-stop jokes! We loved every minute of it and can't wait to see it again. The actors' facial expressions were just as funny as their lines. Incorporating the producer into the movie added to the fun. There were even moments of suspense and sadness that added to the plot. Nice work! Congrats to the cast and crew on a job well done!

This is some of the smartest comedy in a lot time. I was never a huge fan of legos, but am a huge fan of this film
Wacky and unpredictable, this film had me smiling the entire time! So many characters with vastly different personalities, it was a real character study for the audience. Writers to be applauded for clever nuances. Director pulled off a complicated timeline to build a smooth and even delivery.

Who knew that a bunch of nerds locked in a competition to be the best builder could be so much fun! I'm not a Lego fan, so I was a bit worried that perhaps I would not get the jokes, but the movie does a great job of never making it feel like you are missing out on the jokes just because you haven't spent your youth building. I would love to see more heart and genuine humor like this in movies these days, so much fun!

I wasn't too sure until after the first 3 minutes. It grabbed my attention and kept it there until the end with laughter along the way. I felt myself rooting for the underdog while hoping for the penalty flag. This film made feel like I was there. You will never look at a small plastic brick in the same way again. You will enjoy this film.

I liked the movie a lot, I thought it was funny in an offbeat kind of way. I was impressed by the many Lego creations, and the time-lapse building sequences were fantastic. I enjoyed the mockumentary format. I thought Cedric Donovan was great. I also liked Ned An Ted Rockermyer and thought they played well off of each other. Ricky Six, Max Grand, Wyatt, and Seth Paxson were well cast. I am really looking forward to seeing this again.
