The entire film has been shot in digital format on Canon 5D and GoPro.
Lucia is Kannada's first crowd-funded film. When Pawan Kumar decided to try the Crowd Funding route, he set a duration of 100 days in which he hoped to raise 51 Lakh INR. The amount was raised in just 27 days.
