Started bad and Ended Decent
The problem with Chima wasn't that it tried to be like Ninjago, the problem with Chima was that it had good elements but it didn't know how to use them well
Look, the plot makes wants you to think these animal tribes are in war, but you can't buy that because they only bother to show the reasons about why the Lions and Crocodiles want to kill each other, but they didn't do the same for the other tribes. The Eagles and Gorillas are with the Lions and the Wolves and the Ravens are with the Crocodiles because that's how it seems in the promotional material. if you want to put several sides in a war you have to give to all of them a reason about why they are in the side they are and why they want to kill the other side(s)
Laval is, easily, the worst character of all. I mean, he's the protagonist, but the least he has is character devlopment. There are moments that the writers could've taken to make him look like a good son, friend and warrior, someone who wants the best for the tribes of his world, but instead of that, the writers just kept him as the annoying, stupid and so bland character throught the entire series. He makes so stupid choices that you can justify them saying that he does them because the writers need the story to continue
This series has the most annoying perfomace of voices that I've ever heard in a kids show. There are serious moments where the voices sound more like if they're trying to make a comic gag, which ruins the feeling of the moment.
The villains are pretty pathetic as well, starting with a female crocodile who uses a flower to control his brother and rule Chima (cliché), going through a scorpion that I don't know why he wants all the chi for himself (another cliché) and finishing with a sabertooth who wants to freeze all the land without a justified reason.
This show has a problem using comedy. Seriously, most of the jokes more than making you laugh, they will make you close your eyes of embarrassment and you'll thanks to yourself for not seeing this with someone else (Assuming that you plan to watch this alone)
I'd talk about the side character but all of them are just too annoying and bland that is not woth it
And to end, most of the story is bad written. The first season is boring and lame, the second looks like if the writers didn't know what to do with it and the third is the only one wich I think is nearly good... well, decent. And the last episodes were the only ones that tried to catch my attention, those were the only ones that kept me awake to see what was happening. The rest, aside to be boring, they don't wake up the desire to watch them again
All in all, Legends Of Chima was a faild attempt to replace Ninjago. The only good things I can say about Chima is that it had a good animation, soundtracks and theme song, but that's all, everything else stinks. I wouldn't recommend you to watch this, but if you wanna pass cringe, well do it

Could've been great, but a lot of wasted potential
Lego legends of chima had a-lot of potential in terms of its lore and worldbuilding which had lots of room for different plots and arcs, but it lacked creativity and depth in the writing, and one pf it's biggest flaws being the generic main characters, the characters weren't weren't very memorable as they developed very little and weren't unique.
Although there were some great elements such as the world building and that the 1st season was good. It fell flat in alot pf aspects.

Fantastic nostalgia
I remember seeing Chima when I was maybe 8 and having it as my favorite show for a long time. Now when I think about Chima I get a lot of nostalgia and I only remember good things about the show.
I looked at some clipps of Chima on YouTube not long ago and was well surprised of how bad the lines are and how the story line isn't that good. As a child I didn't notice any of that and I guess that isn't very weird since it's a children's series.
I definitely recommend Chima since it's one of my childhoods most important shows and one I think children could learn from since they discuss friendship.

this show turned me into a furry
I used to watch this all the time when i was like 5, but until recently i was convinced it was a fever dream. Turns out its an actual thing??? And not just a hallucination??? I thought this was the deepest, most thought provoking thing ever as a kid, but it's literally lego furries fighting over *substances* that fell from the sky. What more could you want from a show?
My watching experience of this show was probably not helped by the fact that i watched it out of order and in a bootleg russian dub. I would write more, but i'm still in a state of shock after witnessing "Lego Legends of Chima"

Lego: Legends of Chima
What a great series so far, The stories are great and the characters are well done. What i am liking most about this so far is that almost all of the vehicles in the series look very close to the buildable models adding to the enjoyment value you will get from purchasing them. Like all shows, some episodes are better than others, but in general the series is well done. The computer animation for the show in general and the Backgrounds in particular are superb and keep you interested in watching. I for one can't wait to see more episodes. There are so many more plots for this show that Lego could run this for 3 or 4 seasons at least, so far we are mainly focusing on the Lion, Crocodile, and Wolf tribes with a few episodes getting a little in depth with the Eagle and Ravens tribes and one with the Beavers, very little has been seen of the Gorilla, Rhino or Bear tribes so i feel there are plenty of stories to come that will spark the imagination of all who build the models, Well done Lego. i have also made a fan page for this theme, simply type in Chima in your facebook search bar

Not as good as Ninjago
It was okay and the animation was tolerable, but this seemed only targeted towards very young children with its childish humor and characters. The action also seemed a bit toned down, and several times the show felt boring. There were some good parts, but not enough. Also, sometimes the characters were horrible at expressing emotion. More than once I have seen Laval smiling while talking about solemn topics or while falling screaming off a cliff. Some parts did not even make sense, but I don't want to mention any potential spoilers.
Ninjago is far better than Chima, and I am happy that it is still ongoing at its sixth season. Overall, Legends of Chima is a childish, sluggish series with little action. It's few good parts were far outweighed by its facepalmable content.

A very well made universe
First of all, I want to say I am surprised to see 2 of the 3 previous comment stating that this series is targeting only young kids, since Legends of Chima is probably the first show my 4 years old son is watching that really caught my attention. I have seen a couple episodes of Ninjago and I felt like it was not as interesting as Legends of Chima, by far.
First of all, the universe of Legends of Chima is rather detailed, with a lot of characters, an interesting complexity in the relationships and interactions between them. The story line is also a strong point to me, I mean there is so much you can expect from a kid cartoon, but in this case, I feel like they put a real effort into it. I can't speak for the English Version since my son is watching the episodes in French, but the vocabulary is of a pretty decent level, and the french voices work for me. I actually watched the first and second season entirely with my son and truly enjoyed it.
Additionally, the franchise has been used to create a series of video games that appear to be pretty interesting to me, especially Legends of Chima Online, which is a Free To Play MMORPG, very successfully using the Unity3D engine, which requires no installation and which is a very very decent game to me, even for hardcore gamer I am (or used to be). We enjoy playing together and venturing in the world of Chima with my young boy, which adds even more fun to the show when we watch it.
In conclusion, I would recommend Lego Legends of Chima for younger and even older kids, and even though I am not a Fan of the Lego universe, at first glance. The 8/10 might appear a touch high, but it is certainly closer to the reality than the 1/10 it has been given in the other comments.

Incredibly Bad
Legends of Chima is a total unsuccessful series. But the successful and pretty decent show Ninjago, did make off a lot more money then this show with its great TV show and amazing LEGO sets. Since they discontinued Ninjago and brought this Chima thing, LEGO has made less money then Chima and were forced to give out free and sometimes discounted sets very early. The show has gotten a lot of hate and seems to be appeared for a very young audience unlike Ninjago's originality and family entertainment. Overall the show lacks a lot of stuff and is not enjoyable for any older kid or parent and barley for younger ones. Chima is a show of talking animals, gagging jokes, and a lot of disappointing moments when you just wish that maybe that awesome show Ninjago which was forced to bring back by fans who wanted it so bad because of how unsuccessful this show was. Trust me, it's not that great.

Chima is great
It is a fun story. Great characters and overall good story. Show can sometimes lead to install lines out, but it's okay, it's worth the watch and if you can't get through it just watch it in small parts And I hope you enjoy the show itself but good actors, good story even dialogue. Good villains, amazing tribes I've always wanted to go to watch it could be better could be more swipes and if not they could at least reboot the show it might have been off the air for a few years but The show show could still have your story and Luke characters I think this very thing that's just my opinion. Hope you enjoy watching.

So much memories......
Back when I was 9, I was real obsessed with this theme. It was my biggest trophy! Even now, I feel nostalgic. I still keep this as my most favourite LEGO theme ever, after BIONICLE

Legends of Chima is a good show.
Legends of Chima is a good show. It is actually the best television show that I know of. I think that it beats "star wars the clone wars" and "battlestar galactic", (as far as I know), and "The Bible" and possibly "The game of thrones" and perhaps "Vikings" and "Star trek", Possibly, and so on and so on. Also, everybody needs to see this good show. Even more, it is clean, appropriate, and has no explicit stuff in it, and it is not offensive to religious views, though it can be compared to Christianity in some ways, and I also think that LEGO and Warner Bros and all of them need to continue the show, like, forever. Please do so, LEGO.

A hidden gem
The first time I ever saw the Chima logo it was on a Toys 'R Us banner and I thought nothing of it. The next time I saw it was after watching many children's shows on Netflix with my son. I didn't want to watch it at first, but as time passed I eventually hot curious about and recently I caved. Admittedly as of writing this review I've only watched up to the 7th episode but hand-on-The-Bible I was blown away by how good it is. Okay, I admit it's not amazing, but the graphics are better than those of Lego Movie and it has a rich backlore and charming characters. And the stories are so drawing that I even forget the characters are Legos. I mean unlike other Lego media they refrain from using their Legoness to rebuild themselves (to my knowledge) and the sets and set pieces seldom-to-never have Lego logos or the brick tops. This keeps the fun, imaginative stories immersive. I will say that some characters are annoying and some lines are cheesy and I can tell when multiple characters are voiced by the same actor but hey, it's a kid's cartoon. Would a kid notice/care? No. I'd go as far as to say that this is the best Lego media I've seen.

Great show that ended too soon 8/10
This may be a lego TV show so it's meant for kids but as I watched it, it was pretty damn good. It tells a good story of friends becoming enemies and to learn to do the right thing. And how the easy way in life is not always the right decision. I enjoyed it so much I wished it would have continued for at least two - three more seasons, Lego's only mistake was to end this show so quickly.

lego this ego
At first when i heard of lego Chima I thought hit sounded stupid. what imbecile want's to watch a bunch of lego animal's fighting and doing what ever they do. then I decided to sit down and watch the first episode and i fell in love with the charters. the voice acting is lousy but with time comes experience. the story is entraining but not original at all. it truly the characters that made me enjoy it. they each had their own view on life and with that view came their problems. i should truly give the credit to the writers for their wonderful character development. but what they should do and i'm only on the first season so they may have already done this, bunt they need to kill of a not needed character and let each character's personality's reflect how they take it. this may be a bad idea and now that i typed it I'm felling like it is a little to much for a kid show.
