Pulkit Samrat, who made his Bollywood debut with Bittoo Boss, is one happy man these days. While on one hand, he is gearing up for the release of Bangistan this week, on the other, he has just been signed up by none other than Milan Luthria for his film Baadshaho. Readers may recall that, a few days back, we had reported about Baadshaho stars Ajay Devgn, Shruti Haasan and Lisa Haydon. Filmmaker Milan Luthria recently stated that Pulkit Samrat has been roped in for a 'friendly appearance' in the film but refused to divulge any details about his role in the film. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Baadshaho which is the name of Ajay Devgn's character in the film, will be shot extensively in Punjab and is slated to release on March 25, 2016.

Mumbai, Nov 4: Bollywood producer Kumar Mangat's daughter Amita Pathak, last seen in "Bittoo Boss" says her next film will be a family drama. But he is tight-lipped about further details of the project.

"I recently finished shooting for a film in Gujarat. It's a family drama and I play the protagonist in it. I am not allowed to talk about it as the production house will make an announcement soon," Amita told Ians.

However, she clarified that the film is not produced by her father.

"It's a new set up and they will make an announcement soon," said the actress, who made her acting debut with "Haal-e-Dil" in 2008.

Pulkit Samrat who made his debut in Bittoo Boss and was last seen in Fukrey, will now be seen in the Salman Khan starrer Jai Ho. Apparently, the actor will feature in a cameo role in the film.

Mumbai, May 10: "Bittoo Boss" fame Pulkit Samrat says director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba has incoporated his real life experience in "Fukrey".

Pulkit, who will be seen as one of the leads in the film, said every character shows Singh's reflection.

"Mrighdeep is the biggest fukra. All that you will see in the movie has been picked from his life only. Every character has a little bit of Mrighdeep in it," Pulkit said here Thursday at a radio station during the promotion of "Fukrey".

To essay his role, Pulkit also took the mannerisms of Mrighdeep.

"I personally picked up Mrighdeep's mannerisms to do what Honey is doing.

Mumbai, Sep 21: Actor Pulkit Samrat, who made his Bollywood debut as a rugged, Punjabi boy in "Bittoo Boss", is undergoing complete transformation for his next movie "Fukrey".

The film, produced by Excel Entertainment, co-owned by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, will present Pulkit in a completely new style, says a source.

"Excel Entertainment, that is known for its high style quotient, will help Pulkit completely reinvent himself for their next production.

Richa Chadda is riding high these days. After her power packed performance in Anurag Kashyap's Gangs Of Wasseypur, she has now been signed for Excel Entertainment's Fukrey. Richa plays a very significant role in the film. She will be seen playing a mafia don, and her character will be called as Boli Punjaban. Confirming the same, producer Ritesh Sidhwani said, "Yes Richa Chadda has been signed for Fukrey." But, it seems that Pulkit's talent did not go unnoticed. That explains the reason why producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani have signed him up for their upcoming flick Fukrey. Pulkit, who just can't stop thanking his stars, said that he considers himself very lucky to have got this offer. He also added that Farhan and Ritesh noticed his work in debut film and called him for Fukrey. When asked about the film, he said that, Fukrey basically means good-for-nothing. And it's a film about these guys who have big dreams but no money. More details about the rest of the cast are awaited.

Producer Kumar Mangat whose last two films Pyaar Ka Punchnaama and Bittoo Boss have spotlighted fresh talent, is all set to do the unthinkable. He will now produce a film based on the life and alleged crimes of Charles Sobhraj.

The film which will be a mega-budget adventure thriller will be budgeted at Rs. 40 crores. Earlier a Charles Sobhraj bio-pic directed by Prawaal Raman (whose brilliant thriller 404 last year made quite an impact) with Sanjay Dutt in the lead did all but made it to the floors. Mumbai, April 13(Ians) Salman Khan liked newcomer Pulkit Samrat's "Bittoo Boss" and the young actor says he feels blessed after getting the Bollywood star's appreciation.

"Bittoo Boss" hits the theatres Friday. Directed by Supavitra Babul, the film also stars Amita Pathak.

"We seriously feel blessed that bhai (Salman) is with us and that he is supporting us. Apart from saying this, we can't say anything else. We just have to work a lot because we have to prove ourselves and make him proud," Pulkit said at the special screening of the film here Thurdsay.

"We just felt that it was not required and getting some established stars would not justify the film. The film demanded fresh faces," Amita, daughter of producer Kumar Mangat, told Ians.

Directed by Supavitra Babul, the film is scheduled to release April 13.
