When Krishna's story comes to my conscience I like his childhood. The epics associated. The ease of his superiority.
I like Radhe-Krishna (friend's & the gopiyan) take but the fact that duo never got married is disheartening.
The story in this movie is quite complete, but I miss Govardhan and Kalia's take very much. I believe if they included 15 minutes more the makers could have done even more justice.

The last time I checked out this movie it had like a 7.7 on this website! I feel kind of bad seeing as how I probably only loved it because so many other people did at the time. Yeah, I'm kind of a conformist and want to look at what's the highest rated. With all being said, I believe now that my completely unbiased opinion of this film is that it is good, just not great. It is hard for me to truly judge it, as I am not that familiar with Hindu mythology. I've seen other movies based on it, but as it's so massive it doesn't focus on the same story.
I really was impressed by the animation this movie. I guess India hasn't made the transition from 2D to CGI unlike most Western countries. In fact, I think Eastern countries in general haven't done that. This movie tells the story of how Vishnu was born as a human and fought the evil Prince Rans while he was still a mere child. Anyway, I had no idea there was a demon in Hinduism that had poisonous milk in her breasts. Yeah, pretty creepy, but it's an original concept at least. Its main fault is that it is too long but Indian films usually are. The movements were good and it's always nice to learn about a culture that I am unfamiliar with. ***

The film is seriously a treat for anyone and is one of the best animated movies of India. You should definitely watch it and make sure the kids watch it as well.
The animation and music is completely flawless and is the best part of the film.
Everyone in India is quite familiar of the pastimes of ShriKrishna but for foreigners also this film is very informative and thankfully hasn't been altered much from the scriptures. The scenes with best flute ever (besides in Star Plus Mahabharat) for Krishna can just make your eyes watery and make you fill up with emotions.
However, it's still not perfect. Rather than having a time wastingfull song for Putna of 4 minutes you should have seriously utilized that screen time for the relation between RadhaKrishna which is almost dismissed even though it is the most important thing especially in his time at Vrindavan before Kans death. That is inexcusable and those who don't know the scriptures cannot get it at all from the movie.

I am keep watching countless with my 2 year old Son, he knows each and every part of film and starting his acting before playing on screen.
It bought my childhood and keep alive of Character of Shree Krishna which inherited since long.
Music and Songs are so live that overriding older traditional songs of Kali Nag and all others....
Industry should focus on this type of movie more so that it spread little awareness of God and will brings positive energy in your child.
Industry should also try to reform Geeta Bodh with small Cartoon Characters which will help small kids.
A similar type of attempt should be made for Hanuman and Ram-Sita.
Thanks

Most attempts at this story focus on fighting and "chamatkaars", but this one truly captures, not just from a scriptural and spiritual perspective, but from a theatrical perspective the true nature of each of the characters that it introduces.
The struggles and joys of having a relationship with Krishna are explored at a depth that is worthy of the Mariana's Trench that is this story.

The pastimes of the Supreme Lord, Sri Krishna, are beautifully presented in this wonderful poem full of charm and emotion. From the first moment we experienced the tragedy of his parents Vasudeva and Devaki, the evil of his uncle Kamsa and the large number of enemies to overcome until reaching the final moment where the accounts will be settled in the battle arena and the evil will come to an end. . The epic of the Lord is narrated in the Srimad Bhagavatam and here we can appreciate it in a reliable and spectacular way. It is a delight in every way, emotional and illuminating. It is a perfect film and for every devotee of the Lord it is a must film.
I just can't beleive that this movie was released in 2012, the animation quality and the angles and scene we so good, some scenes literally made me cry, I just feel why I haven't watched this when it was released. Once in my life I want to watch this movie on big screen. It's a masterpiece. Underrated movie, specially the animation quality and music design. The voice dubbing was good too.. Everyone reading this review, it's a must watch movie you won't regret watching it, I suggest you must watch this movie on a big screen like on TV for best experience. The story covered in the movie is very well done very, haven't skipped any of the story of lord shi Krishna.

The 2D version of one of the most well made and beloved Indian animation series- "Little Krishna", offers a satisfying summary and a deserved conclusion. One of the most well made yet underrated animation movies of India. The artwork and the animation is praiseworthy. With the voice talents of Om Prakash, Juhi Chawla and Praachi Saathi and a well written script, it's really fun to watch. The movie is also well complemented by beautiful songs sung by the likes of Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal and a wonderful, soothing flute piece by Rakesh Chaurasia, in my opinion, are worthy of listening on loop. I am just sad that it didn't get the love and audience reach it very well deserved. This one joins my list of the most well made Indian animated flicks, and also the list of underrated Indian animated flicks with the likes of Arjun: The Warrior Prince. It's definitely worth a watch for those who haven't yet watched it.
This is a great movie, explaining things in English and proper story telling rather than modern day Bollywood dramas. I would recommend it for any age 0-16.
