This game offers the only visual explanation of how Dante's sword Rebellion remains on his back without being fastened to his clothes. (His abilities allow him to "summon" the sword at will through the Angel markings on his back.)

Goofs
After starting the second server, Dante asks Vergil if he should line the system up. After he starts all 4 servers, Vergil instructs him to line them up. Dante cannot have known that they needed to be lined up before Vergil told him so.

Definitive Edition Is Way Better

It's a good game so far, except for the new Dante and his personality, the characters, and the story was not interesting.

What I didn't like was the poor controls and the frame rate. When you purchase the stinger move, it's supposed to be R1+ triangle just like the previous games. But nope, for this game it's left analong stick up, up and triangle. What were they thinking? Again, the controls are so bad, and the frame rate is the worst.

I recommend playing the Definitive Edition on PS4/Xbox One. It has 60fps, rebalanced and retuned gameplay, 1080p, new game modes, and it's WAY better than the PS3 version. And that's because PS3 is an overrated console. Play the Definitive Edition instead of the original, pretend it doesn't exist.
