Learn more- Hashi ("The Bridge"), is the love story of Flo from Paris and Aki from Tokyo; two women separated by life's tribulations who are linked by a bridge. Proclaimed as, "A romantic comedy dedicated to all those who love, regardless of their sex, age or origin." In France Flo finds herself depressed after the end of a relationship with a man. While alone in the subway a stranger named Aki attempts to lighten her mood. They make a day of hanging out by a bridge, where simple but bonding moments happen. That night they sleep together in the same bed and grow closer. Once Aki leaves France, Flo wonders around with growing nostalgia until she runs into a 'fairy godmother' character who says she'll help her find what she's lost. As Flo walks across the bridge she's miraculously transported to a bridge in Japan where she finds Aki dejected and unresponsive. Her guardian angel explains that Aki has been in a coma for two weeks and now remembers nothing of her trip to France. Flo tries to relive the magical day to awaken Aki's memories, but to no avail. Then Flo considers killing Aki with a sword from the temple to end her suffering, but can't do it. Flo embraces Aki and walks through the portal on the bridge; returning to France unrequited. The amnesia breaks and Aki crosses the bridge into France to surprise Flo. They embrace happily ever after. The end.
