Not expired. Skim off the metaphor.

I have yet to see the entirety of the season but the first four episodes have been a hilarious allegory of our own human evolution. Mix in (sorry flour) a dash of food puns, pop culture and gratuitous food fights and I'm hooked.

It's a great approachable critique of our past and present so far. You have the foods released in to an unknown world fending for themselves. Found the divide between oligarchy vs monarchy a bit more quickly in the show but these guys do have an expiration date after all.

Wonder what the future holds. The show may have an expiration date but I'm happy to get the sustenance while it's here. Just relax for a while, yall.
