Thank You For Coming comes close to being a definitive sex comedy for women, with Bhumi Pednekar's star turn offering laughs and life lessons to spare.

Although Thank You for Coming is overstuffed with too much plot and too many characters, director Boolani brings Kanika’s world to life with sumptuous visuals, kinetic editing, a jaunty soundtrack, and punchy rat-a-tat dialogue.

It has a lot on its mind that it wants to tackle, but that leaves much of the explorations it is undertaking feeling half-baked. This doesn’t drag things down too much, as it is mostly able to keep light on its feet, but it does make things a bit wobbly.

It’s a very funny romp with a fantastic comedic performance by Pednekar.
