DJ Khaled is excited about this year's American Music Awards!

The 41-year-old music producer -- who snagged two nominations in the best Collaboration of the Year and Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop song categories for “I’m the One,” featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne -- is hoping to take home at least one award at Sunday’s show.

“I’m praying that we take home that trophy,” Khaled told Et at Variety’s Hitmakers luncheon in Los Angeles on Saturday, where he was honored alongside Kendrick Lamar and Hailee Steinfeld. “But either way, I’m grateful for the nomination[s].”

Taylor Swift has finally graced fans with her latest single, "Call It What You Want."

The new track, which dropped at midnight Et on Friday, was released as a lyric video which resembled a scrapbook with sketches and typewriter lettering.

DJ Khaled is trying to respond to Sunday's horrific Las Vegas shooting with love and positivity.

The "I'm the One" artist and Ed Sheeran were the first guests at the newly relaunched Trl premiere on Monday, where they responded to the domestic terror attack at the Mandalay Bay Resort, where a gunman opened fire at a country music festival, killing at least 59 people and wounding over 500 more.

"My prayers go out to everybody in Vegas. The whole world, we gotta pray more. Love is the key, love is the answer, we have to come together and help each other more, this is tragic," Khaled implored. "When I woke up this morning, I was like, 'What is going on?'"

"I'm sending all my love to all the families out there," he added. "Hopefully they can rise up and overcome this."

When future scribes write the full history of Saturday Night Live, this season will stand out as much as the first, albeit for wildly different reasons. The lead-up to, and reaction of, the 2016 presidential election dominated nearly every episode. Even when the show wasn't dealing directly with it, its absence cast a long shadow. The program often struggled with how to be itself when the world around it shifted in such a seismic fashion. While the results could be occasionally maddening, they were always fascinating.

Change is nothing new for the show.

I had the chance to sit down with Taya, one of the stars of the El Rey Network show Lucha Underground. We discussed her career, the state of women's wrestling, plus what fans can expect from the Mid Season premiere of Lucha Underground on May 31st.

Taya: Lucha Underground is a show and original series that is on the El Rey Network. We are now in the midst of the Season 3 hiatus. We come back from break on May 31st. The Met Gala went down in NYC on Monday, and in addition to the night's theme providing gorgeous fashion from some of our favorite stars, there was also a glaring theme among some of the younger guests: a lot of them have dated Justin Bieber. The "I'm the One" singer's most famous ex, Selena Gomez, was in attendance with her boyfriend, The Weeknd, and some of his past flings, including Hailey Baldwin and Sofia Richie, were also there. And in another weird twist of fate, Justin's rumored new girlfriend, Pitch Perfect 2 star Hailee Steinfeld, also made an appearance. A fan snapped a photo of Justin meeting up with Hailee after the big night, but she recently shut down dating rumors. While we don't think his exes became best friends while bonding in the bathroom (besides pals Hailey and Kendall Jenner), it was pretty odd seeing them all pop up at the same event.

Todd Fisher is opening up about the tragic loss of two of his beloved family members, mom Debbie Reynolds and sister Carrie Fisher, who died just one day apart in December 2016.

While speaking with Et's Nancy O'Dell on Wednesday, the 59-year-old producer revealed that nearly three months later, he's still feeling "a little disoriented," but "doing fine."

Maybe it's just me. Several of this decade's most acclaimed independent horror films have left me relatively cold. While I am not immune to the charms of films like The Babadook, and You're Next; there is another separate wave of new low-budget horror that I just cannot seem to get behind. Films like Sarah Adina Smith's The Midnight Swim and Osgood Perkins' The Blackcoat's Daughter (Fka February) have squandered what is clearly an immense amount of talent in telling stories with no real purpose or central conflict. Director Karen Skloss first narrative feature, pseudo-horror headscratcher The Honor Farm, falls firmly into the latter category and it makes me all the more curious if I'm the one being left behind. It might be more accurate to say they took several blows, including one they may never recover from, now that Savitar is back in Central City.

After weeks of looming on the sidelines, the big bad delivered a knockout punch no one saw coming.

I'm sure I wasn't the only one who found the opening sequence jarring.

When we left off on The Flash Season 3 Episode 14, Barry was proposing to Iris, and Wally saw Savitar as he went to get ice cream. Suddenly, Barry, Wally, and Jesse were training like nothing happened.

My first thought was dream sequence. Because I didn't think there was any way we would be deprived of seeing Iris' answer to Barry's proposal in real time.

Except that's exactly what happened. 

Instead, we were treated to Barry and Iris telling their friends and family.

Cool couple bits of information here: It is important to start with the fact that, while I loved Kevin Smith in his Flash episodes, I did not like his 1st Supergirl episode. Oprah Winfrey proudly shares the memories she has of the inaugural graduating class of the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls.

In Fusion’s one-hour special, O Girls, Kimberly Brooks sits down with Winfrey to talk about her school that "handpicks some of the brightest students from some of the poorest neighborhoods in South Africa" and gives them an education.

In an exclusive clip from the special, the TV personality talks about how the first five graduates of the Leadership Academy for Girls adjusted to being given such an opportunity. Marvel’s The Punisher is a killing machine bent on revenge. He watched as his family became collateral damage in a mob war and vowed to wipe out organised crime. He didn’t have a badge, but was a battle trained ex-Marine with a full arsenal of killing skills.

The Punisher, created by writer Gerry Conway and artist John Romita, Sr. for Marvel Comics, first tortured readers in The Amazing Spider-Man. He was initially brought to life on the big screen by Dolph Lundgren in 1989 and was played by Thomas Jane in the 2004 film The Punisher. A sequel, The Punisher 2, was written by Kurt Sutter, the creator of Sons of Anarchy who was writing for The Shield on FX at the time. Sutter’s script was shelved...

He owns an array of strange items that could rival the displays of Marvel's The Collector, and with a heavenly voice that can kill, Lily is the prized possession of the eccentric Mr. Nyx in Gregg Bishop's SiREN. Based on David Bruckner's "Amateur Night" segment from V/H/S, SiREN comes out in theaters today from Chiller Films (ahead of its VOD, Digital HD, and DVD release on December 6th), and Daily Dead recently had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Nyx himself, Justin Welborn, who discussed bringing the enigmatic character to life in his fourth collaboration with Gregg Bishop, and also reflected on their midnight movie masterpiece, Dance of the Dead.

What was your initial reaction when you heard that they wanted to do a feature film adaptation of David Bruckner's segment from V/H/S?

Justin Welborn: Well, Bruckner actually called me up and asked me about.

Oprah Winfrey's Bff, Gayle King, opened up to Et about O, The Oprah Magazine's upcoming Year of Adventure and what that means for Lady O.

Winfrey actually tackled her first adventure of the new year a little early by hiking the Grand Canyon with King and longtime boyfriend Stedman Graham.

King revealed that this was the trio's second trip to the Grand Canyon.

"We went years ago in 1993, doing a shoot for the show," King tells Et. "And Oprah said, 'I didn't really get to see it then.' She says, 'I was busy working. I didn't really get to see it.'"

The return trip gave King a chance to redeem herself, admitting that she had difficulty keeping up with the famous couple during their first outing 23 years ago.

Did Scream Queens push the limits of believability too far and jump the shark completely?

Scream Queens Season 2 Episode 7, picking up shortly after the events of Scream Queens Season 2 Episode 6, found the Chanels (and Hester) discovering that Cassidy is, in fact, the Green Meanie killer – or at least one of them. Yet, #3 made the eyebrow-raise-worthy decision to keep quiet about her new boyfriend being a murderer.

Uhhhh... what?

Look, I don't tune into this series every week for the realism. I tune in because of the ridiculous and fun over-the-top characters' hilarious one-liners and antics. But somehow, Chanel #3 acknowledging that her dude is an actual serial killer and choosing not to turn him in is a little too much for me.

I get that her intention is to "distract" him from thinking about death and murder 37 times (or less) per day, with the hope of eventually quelling his desire to kill entirely but.

Kim Kardashian West hints that she might be making a major career change.

In a promo clip for Sunday's finale of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which was taped prior to Kim's robbery in Paris, the 36-year-old reality star helps her mother, Kris Jenner, plan a work trip for Kylie Jenner to Australia, and appears quite good at lining everything up.

"I've joked a lot that I could be my sisters' manager better than my mom could be," Kim admits. "I think I do give a lot of creative input, and I know they, like, listen."

It's clear that the mother of two has thought a lot about becoming a manager. "I feel like could totally handle this," she adds.

When Ghostwatch screened on BBC1 in 1992, it received a record number of complaints from viewers who were upset, shocked, terrified or angry about it. Worried that perhaps they had gone too far, the BBC refused to rebroadcast it and, as a result of its relative obscurity, the show took on a near-mythical cult status. However, one young viewer it made a huge impression on was Rich Lawden who, twenty years later, would release a passionate and comprehensive documentary (Ghostwatch: Behind The Curtains) that covered everything you could ever want to know about the programme but were afraid to ask.

Last year, there was a viral debate over a dress. This year, it's over Bill Murray and Tom Hanks.  Apparently, the actors share such a resemblance that people can't figure out which one appears in this hilarious photo of a crying baby. Spoiler alert: it's Bill Murray.  The image was originally shared on the Facebook page, "Reasons My Son Is Crying," in 2013 by mom Laura Dimichele-Ross. In the shot, Murray is sporting an orange jacket while holding the sobbing child at a golf competition in Scotland. There are moments in most TV shows where you wonder what a character is thinking. Chicago Fire Season 5 Episode 2 is an entire episode of wondering what people must be thinking. The title "A Real Wake-Up Call" is fitting, because there are several people here that need one.

The major story involves the conclusion of the cliffhanger from Chicago Fire Season 5 Episode 1, in which Stella's ex Grant is rushed to the hospital after Severide defended Stella. He's shocked that she insists on riding in the ambulance with the guy that just threatened her and understandably so. There are Lifetime movies that start like this.

Severide turns out to only be in jeopardy for a handful of minutes as Cpd ultimately offer to charge Grant with attempted murder. But Stella confuses everyone again by refusing to press charges. Instead, with some help from Chicago Med's Dr. Daniel Charles, she convinces Grant to voluntarily commit himself.

The bystander effect was in full swing on Blue Bloods Season 7 Episode 4, as the Reagan’s wrestled with cowardice, apathy, and the stigma of “being a rat.”

It was difficult to decide whether I was more disappointed in Frank or Jamie in this installment.

From Frank’s point of view, the job was far more complicated than the arrest of one cab driver. The Homeland Security case was certainly important. I’m sure that investigation could save many lives but did that discount the life of one innocent bystander.

Frank told Jamie he was putting a whole lot on one collar, but to Salem, that one collar could have him shipped back to Syria where he could easily end up dead, all for yelling at a guy for side swiping him on the street.

I don’t understand why you're breaking your neck trying to look the other way on this.

While me may live in an age of big budget blockbusters, if there is one genre that's stood the test of time, it's horror. Sure, they may usually consist of the lowest of low budget fare, but unlike standard dramas, they tend to bring out audiences in droves. The films may not have the explosions of their superhero brethren, but there's something special about sitting in a dark theater with a bunch of strangers and having a joint terrifying experience.

One of the most prominent producers of these films is Blumhouse Productions, a production company that's created a wide array of franchise from Paranormal Activity to The Purge, Insidious, and Ouija. If you've made a habit of getting the bejeezus scared out of you, there's a good chance you've seen a decent number of their films.
