- TriviaFrank the Pug (voiced by Tim Blaney) and the Worm Guys (voiced by Thom Fountain) are the only characters from Men in Black (1997) and Men in Black II (2002) to also physically appear in this one. Although they have a prominent place on the movie's poster, these characters have less than a minute of screentime.
- GoofsAfter H and M land in the Merzouga desert after H hits the "red button" acceleration on the hover bike, they somehow manage to start a campfire, despite the area being devoid of vegetation.

Men In Black: International tries to follow in the footsteps of greatness but fails.
Now I don't consider myself a negative person, & I hardly consider the Men In Black franchise a negative franchise but Men In Black: International is perhaps the worst of the franchise. Ever since Will Smith hit the ground running as agent Jay running with Tommy Lee Jones as his wise-cracking elder guide audiences were hooked to the series especially with the third inception of the franchise where time travel was in play when agent Jay ended up meeting his real life father in it!! All very exciting and humorous stuff that had audiences in stitches for movies one and three, but for whatever reasons films numbers two and four missed the target. I'm concentrating on film number four today, Men in Black: International, for the purpose of this review. On the bright side, the film did have good actors in it. Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, and Liam Neeson all played their characters well but the story was simply flat and dragged at times. Instead of pulling you in and taking you on a fun ride for a couple hours this film bored you, tried to be too cute with its aliens and actually put me to sleep during parts of it! There was no winning comedy like we saw in the first three Men In Black films, the Smith and Jones combination simply carried the first three movies and it seems like without them the franchise isn't quite the same. The special effects were good but you would expect that of any film today that is backed by a major motion picture studio (Sony/Columbia for this one) Costuming was fine, again the aliens were a bit too cute in this one, the soundtrack was acceptable, the direction was acceptable, and truly the only hope for this franchise is that they bring back the Fresh Prince and Tommy Lee Jones for it. 4 out of 10 stars.
