As of 2016, the miniseries was never broadcast on TV or in any other form. Promotional releases were presented on TV in 1992 with huge expectation, but then Brazilian president Fernando Collor de Mello entered with an injunction when he felt his honor was attacked by his portrayal in the series, despite the story depict a fictional character, obviously based on him. He won the lawsuit that forbid the presentation of the series at the time but many years later, the tapes containing the show were never exhibited, are probably lost or hidden in the archives of the now defunct network Rede Manchete's owner, the late Adolpho Bloch.
