After a gruesome satanic ritual is broken up, and the female perpetrator is sentenced by the church to die by fire, THE BIBLE OF BLOOD begins.
Zoom ahead several centuries, and med student, Milla (Jasmin Gassman / Lord) gets on her professor's bad side when she makes fun of magical healing. Said prof., a certain Dr. Schwarz (Esther Schweins), assigns a big paper, leading Milla to her encounter with the titular tome.
From this point, Milla discovers that, not only is magic real, but it can also be quite dangerous, even deadly. As circumstances become increasingly bizarre, Milla's logical worldview is thoroughly tested. She also finds herself caught up in something that she may not be able to escape.
Containing elements from other "devil movies" from the past, this German entry is an excellent addition to the sub-genre. It truly generates that conspiratorial feel, and the finale is chilling...
