Having difficulty finding a well equipped shampoo assistant. Tonya is left with no choice but to place a help wanted sign outside her shop doors. With her regular clients scheduled to come into the shop, Tonya quickly holds interviews in hopes to find the perfect assistant.

Kendal feeling ignored and rejected by Otis, realizes she can no longer continue their relationship. Otis, caught by surprise, not only is left with a broken heart but many questions as well.

As Tonya focuses on getting her shop back in order, to her surprise, an old friend walks through the door. This visit leaves the crew with many unanswered questions that Tonya may not be ready to reveal. By the end of the day with Tonya's unexpected visit and firing of the new assistant she just hired might cause her more than just a headache, it may cost her, her shop!

No one thought they would ever lay eyes on the old shop, but when Tonya texts them to meet her there, confusion fills the air. Joyous laughter turns into silence as Tonya shares the bad news. Will this be the end of the shop, as they know it?

A familiar face in Tonya's life appears to have made her way back into her shop, only this time she's on TV. Still a mystery to the crew, Tonya is uncertain how long she can keep her secret.

Everything is finally coming together; the crew, the shop, and the possibilities are infinite. As Tonya adjusts to her life at the new shop, she realizes the neighborhood has not changed one bit. Suddenly, an unexpected visit from the neighborhood hustler leaves the crew questioning the choice they just made. Do they have what it takes to stick around???
