Many ethnic minority women in London long for their freedom and only some fight for it. Shno is a young woman in London who is trapped in a world of class, culture and traditions of which she is expected to conform to. Harem, Shno's brother, is in the living room of the house watching a football match, his Mother takes measurements of Shno to make her a new dress - a dress for the forthcoming Kurdish community's annual party. Instead of this being a joyful moment in the family's life, a simple call for A Glass of Water, turns their world upside down, ending in a disastrous situation. Can Shno's family accept her free spirit or will she choose to accept her family wishes?
