This documentary presents a new approach on the sustainable use of the Amazon Rainforest. Businessmen, environmentalists and residents talk about their relationship with one of the greatest natural assets on the planet and discuss solutions to the region's dilemmas. The film presents nine successful experiences that prove it is possible for the Amazon to develop economically without its ecosystem being affected.
A wonderful and necessary documentary, made almost a decade ago already warning of a dangerous future, unfortunately since then very little has been done, or rather almost nothing, deforestation and indigenous peoples being degraded, destroyed and decimated every minute are necessary protective laws constant surveillance and heavy punishment otherwise none of that will change... They could make a new documentary, after the Bozo government, with the same lines, indigenous people, explorers, NGOs...
