Evanescence played their last show of 2024 on Tuesday night (October 29th) in London, Ontario, wrapping up a Canadian tour with Halestorm. For the final song of the night, Amy Lee and company were joined onstage by Lzzy Hale for a rousing rendition of “Bring Me to Life.”

While Hale and Lee have shared the stage before, this was the first time Lzzy sang “Bring Me to Life” with Evanescence. Taking on the guest vocal part recorded by Paul McCoy on the original, Hale delivered a powerhouse scream to complement Lee’s heavenly vocals.

At the end of the song, Lee and Hale embraced. The Evanescence singer then told the audience, “That’s it, 2024. Goodnight!”

Throughout the tour, Lee had been joining Halestorm during their set for the song “Break In,” a tune that Lzzy Hale and company re-recorded with Lee for their 2020 Reimagined EP.

While some fans saw the movie on Hallmark Mystery or Hallmark Movies Now, those on Hallmark Channel now get their chance.

Starring Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, and Geoff Gustafson, Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale Of Three Letters is the thirteenth episode in the popular mystery movie franchise. Meanwhile, the movie originally premiered on Friday, July 12, on Hallmark Mystery. The next day, on July 13, the movie premiered again on Hallmark Movies Now (now Hallmark+).

However, those without access to those platforms can now enjoy the premiere of the mystery movie on Hallmark Channel. Read on for a quick update about the movie and its cast.

The School of Rock may be back with Black.

In an interview with Joe, Jack Black was asked about his 2003 hit film, School of Rock. He raised hopes when he responded, “I’m ready.”

“I wish there’d be a School of Rock 2: Electric Boogaloo, he said, giving a shout-out to the 1984 sequel to Breakin’, titled Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo.

For the uninitiated, in School of Rock, Black played Dewey Finn, a substitute teacher who enlists some misfit students to form a rock band. The film later inspired a Broadway musical adaptation

Black has teased a sequel before, but has always backed away from his comments in later interviews, so fans shouldn’t get hopes too high. Any sequel would have to have the original rock students assume the role of parents, since they are largely in their 30s now.

In 2003, popular actor Jack Black found himself in the middle of the scandal of the century. He managed to squirm his way into a prep school under false pretenses, committed the misdemeanor of impersonating a teacher named Ned Schneebly for the sake of acquiring a little rent money, and led the students to an epic battle of the bands performance that we're still talking about over two full decades later. It was a whole big thing.

Obviously, "School of Rock" went down in history as one of Black and director Richard Linklater's finest moments, not to mention its impact on the ensemble of incredibly talented child actors, all of whom actually played their respective instruments in the film. In short, it was the pop-culture event that inspired a whole generation of kids to embrace their inner punk-rock anarchists, eventually leading to a Broadway musical adaptation and even a short-lived Nickelodeon series.

Jack Black recently told the news outlet Joe, while making the press rounds for “Kung Fu Panda 4,” that he is more than ready to make a sequel to “School of Rock,” the 2003 comedy classic that was directed by Richard Linklater and written by Mike White. Black has stayed close with his younger co-stars over the years, but a movie sequel has never gotten off the ground. “School of Rock” was adapted into a hit Broadway musical, but perhaps it’s time to get the band back together on the big screen.

“I wish there’d be a ‘School of Rock 2: Electric Boogaloo,'” Black said, referencing the 1984 sequel to the dance musical “Breakin’.” The comedian added: “I’m ready.”

More than two decades after the beloved musical comedy, directed by Richard Linklater, premiered in 2003, the actor-comedian recently told Joe that he’s “ready” to reprise his role as energetic musician Dewey Finn.

“I wish there’d be a School of Rock 2 Electric Boogaloo,” he said, referencing the movie title of the 1984 sequel to Breakin’.

School of Rock follows Dewey, who became a substitute teacher at an uptight elementary private school after being kicked out of his rock band. But along the way, he tries to turn his class into their own rock band. The film also starred Mike White, Joan Cusack, Adam Pascal, Lucas Papaelias, Chris Stack, Sarah Silverman and Miranda Cosgrove.
