No pun intended - you do not just get the Minions here (in shorts ... which I reckon is another pun, yes?), but also characters from other movies (such as Grinch, Pets, Sing, Weenie, Lorax). Of course most will look out for the Minions in the 10 shorts you are getting served - as did I.
Still it is nice to have some change in between (literally) - and the other characters bring some fresh things to the table. I personally thought all the shorts were quite good (maybe minus Sing and Weenie, which I thought were decent, but not great).
One thing is for sure, if you are a kid (inside and/or outside) or watch this with a kid, you will see it through different eyes ... sorry for another pun. But watching Minions (and more) will be easier if you get along with puns ... and lowbrow humor of course. I imagine you know the characters and will expect certain ... well mayhem to happen.

Minions, puppies, coffee/tea are all my favorite things and this compilations of several adorable shorts have them all. Highly entertaining - comedic, adventurous, dramatic, few scfi actions and very emotional. Perfect for both happy and depressing days to light up your day. Ideal for both children and adults. Short storylines with run time about less than 5 minutes each. Great animations by illumination as always and ideally perfect voice castings/scores/songs for all the respective shorts - fit amazingly with the tone of the shorts. Simple yet effective. Great illumination's title scenes popping up in between of every shorts that are uniquely different from one another (more minions...yay!)
Shorts List; 1) Minions, 2) Grinch, 3) Minions, 4) Secret life of pets, 5) Minions, 6) Sing, 7) Minions, 8) Weenie, 9) Lorax, 10) Minion.

"Minions & More 1" delivers exactly what its title promises: more of the lovable, mischievous minions we've come to know from the Despicable Me franchise. While their antics are amusing and the animation is bright and colorful, the film falls short in several areas, making it an average addition to the series.
The minions are undeniably charming, and their slapstick humor is sure to elicit a few chuckles. However, the plot feels thin and lacks the engaging storyline that made the original Despicable Me films so delightful. Instead of a cohesive narrative, "Minions & More 1" feels more like a collection of loosely connected skits.
