Georgiana asks Matthew if he's "a fucking Time Lord", referencing Doctor Who (2005-), where her actress Catherine Tate played the role as companion Donna Noble from 2008-2010 (one guest appearance in 2006) and is returning to the role in 2023.
The sitcom has reportedly been axed by the BBC after one series. The first series received overwhelmingly negative reviews and viewing figures declined from 1.7 million viewers to fewer than a million. Official confirmation of the decision is awaited.
