"My Other Me" is a documentary that chronicles a year in the life of three different cosplayers: a veteran cosplayer whom launched a career from cosplay, a young fourteen year old first timer, and a transgender who found himself through cosplay. The documentary will cover everything from each different cosplayers home life, to their costume process, their journey through the convention circuit, and the profound effect cosplay is making on each of their lives as it grows with them.

A true representation of cosplay culture

There's been a lot of documentaries lately about Cosplay, many having been clearly filmed and 'constructed' by someone that isn't involved in the community. This film gets right to the heart of what being a Cosplayer really is the diversity of those that engage in this hobby. It's extremely insightful and heart warming as we follow the Cosplayers through a typical convention year and see how they grow. Josh did a fabulous job of letting the community speak for itself instead of forcing unneeded drama and turning it into a popularity contest, it really is just about people. I highly recommend this for anyone curious to know more about this unique hobby.
