The character of Samantha is based on director Jason Eisener's older sister.

Filmed in the house owned by director Jason Eisener's parents. The same house was used for Eisner's V/H/S/2 segment "Slumber Party Alien Abduction".

The extras for the Halloween party were students from a theater school.

The scenes in the alien slime chamber were done in two days.
