Relax and enjoy an afternoon with this movie. The malayali vibes are so strong and highly relatable. Light and humour filled scenes but with a subliminal message here and there. All the characters have played their part to the T. A movie one wouldn't mind watching again. Kudos to the director and the team. The scenes keep playing out in the mind even after the movie. Such is the impact ! Not a dull moment, the movie keeps its pace from start to end. A different take on gender issues, put in ever so gently. Waiting to watch many more interesting movies from this team. Such movies make the Malayalam film industry stand out.
SDCS was a lot of dry humor with many hidden morals. If you like to have a couple of drinks and get merry with friends, this film is for you😄
DELICIOUS
-The amount of hypocrisy was unbelievable 😂 Lots of pretense among the characters, appearing one way but in fact being someone else.
-One of the things we loved was that the movie was shot in a cinema vérité style where the handheld camera improvised random movements to give an authentic and realistic view of the story.
-Rajesh's brother-in-law was definitely our favorite guy! It was so funny how he kept a serious face while pestering Shinoy with many questions at every stage of the cooking process 😁
BLAND
-SDCS mainly showed a bunch of guys gathered together to have drinks and be merry while preparing a birthday meal.
99% of them were drunks who made the wrong decisions and lived egocentric lives. Then, the women were sober and sensible to correct men's mistakes
This kinda threw off a generally bad image of men, unless Jeo Baby intended to show how alcohol is powerful enough to derail a man's path in contrast to Santosh who was the reformed one among the friends🤔
-The inclusion of some characters didn't really enrich the narrative, e.g. Achu the vlogger and Dijo the NRI
-SDCS will mostly appeal to an audience that enjoys partying and drinking to have a good time; the rest of us were more like spectators.

Sree Dhanya Catering Service was a treat to watch because it's scattered with comedy nuggets from the get go. A group of middle-aged men plan to hang out together after one of them decides to cook some biryani for his daughter's first birthday the next day. You can sense something is about to go wrong as more people enter the scene, some uninvited, and at least one from a far place. The film tries to spectate on these men as they try to have a good time but are bogged down by their own insecurities and snobby characteristics. The final 20 minutes just takes the cake in this 90-minute fun, leaving you with thoughts about humans in general. Go for it!
There is nothing in this movie. A bunch of useless guys decide to make Biriyani for a kid's birthday. It's better to spend ur time eating biriyani than watch this boring movie. There could have been funny situations and interesting dialogues; but if there was a way to perfect nothingness, you have it here.
Don't waste your time watching this in anticipation. All the actors perform well. But, there has to be something in the writing to engage the audience. There is absolutely nothing.
In the end, there is no biriyani too because they all got drunk and didn't do it. This completes the uselessness.

What was this? ....... I don't understand how this is a movie... This is worse than short movies in YouTube....this is worse than documentaries... First of all learn how to hold a camera... If you don't know how to hold a camera, what you can do is to put on a stand and record for steadyness... Secondly what's all this cringe conversations.....is this train of cringe to extend the movie length backed by the excuse "realistic" conversations???? And who are all this expressionless people in front of camera??? Are they actors??? Or paid baffoons...and lastly how come this has 6.6/10 review???? Did you pay it off as well? What a joke of a "movie" man ....

First of all the hand held camera movements used thru out in the movie gives a head ache and makes it a struggle to watch.
Movie is an Intentional effort to show women taking responsibility, and some flaws of mens domination. It is some what successful in showing that , but nothing much engaging in this as a movie.
The auto driver love story scene and the kid stuck with drunk dad are good elements. The mens groups cooking party is relatable 😊. The lite humor of kozhikodu guys biriyani thread also worked out.
I think Amazon took this movie based on the great Indian kitchen success , but this lacks the acting talents and storytelling. Kozhikodu Biriyani actor is a good talent.
Unless you are ready to suffer to watch its political statement , skip this movie and save 2 hours of life.
