This is not a very good story. It was predictable and the directing was non existent. Why have two characters sit in front of a big plate of food and not eat any of it and drink from two cups that are obviously empty.
The fiancée is worried about someone getting into her apartment but she opens her door wide when there is a knock on the door and then goes back inside and leaves the door open. Who would do that?
I don't know what to think about the directing in movies these days. The actors do things in movies that they would never do in real life. Why don't the directors catch these things and fix them?

Amanda Finley, portrayed by Sarah-Jane Redmond, goes to great lengths to sabotage her son Jackson's engagement to Olivia, played by Erin Boyes. Amanda firmly believes that Olivia is only interested in Jackson's money and is determined to break them apart. Amanda employs various manipulative tactics, schemes, and acts of deceit to create tension between Jackson and Olivia.
However, the climax of Engaged to be Murdered reveals a shocking twist.
The film uncovers Amanda's deep-rooted insecurities and her overwhelming desire to maintain control over her son's life. It's well-acted and tightly-plotted thriller which some good twists. The ending came as a surprise, maybe there could be a sequel.

The first thriller of the year, I didn't like the plot.
The character didn't apeal to me and I felt like something was missing from the script.
The music was nicer than I expected ( but not incredible).
I didn't enjoy the acting from all the actors.
I didn't like the threat of the movie at all, it felt forced.
The ending wasn't good in my opinion, the movie felt to long even tho it's just a 90 minute movie. (aka it was a bit boring at some points).
It didn't have any characters I really enjoyed, ( they all where one dimensional ).
I can say that I found the mother the most annoying character in this.
I wouldn't rewatch this film.

So here we have another of the many made for TV thrillers. This time around a woman named Amanda doesn't like the fact of her son Jackson marrying Olivia. She for some reason thinks that Olivia is only after one thing from jack. His long hard money of course. And so she sets out to stop theaor getting married fearing for her son's life. It's strange because I think this plot is just really bad it's straight forward but at the same time just really boring. The sort of twist might be alright but it's nothing too good and that paired with lack luster acting, it makes meet my mother one of the not great thrillers.
