- There's nothing Curtis loves more than playing the role-playing game Swords and Swordsmen with his friends. Those gaming sessions have been the one reliable and constant factor in his life. But now, that life is changing and it's put those fast paced adventures on graph paper in flux. Does the game change or does Curtis change? That's assuming either one can. 12 Sided Die is a stylish comedy series about friends, fantasy and romance and what happens when the three collide.
- Season 1: Life and expanding families have made getting together for gaming sessions harder and harder with each passing day for our heroes. It's been six months since the last adventure and just when it looks like they'll finally be able to continue their heart-stopping fantasy adventure... Curtis receives a knock on his door from his neighbor Cynthia. She's cute. She's strong-willed. And she wants to know what Curtis is doing that evening...
But Curtis' loyalty lies to the game. At least that's what he keeps telling himself. His friends tell him he needs to be loyal to himself and ask Cynthia out. Better yet, ask her to game with them. Finally convinced of this, he now needs to find the courage.
Season 2: Curtis has a grand realization about how he feels about Cynthia and, per usual, is struggling to get out of his own way to share it with her. Circumstances with his friends are not making it easier as the group has won a gaming session with the creator of Swords and Swordsman. Panic sets in with Chris as he must now be a player, something he has not done in decades. Cynthia struggles to draw the best fantasy art of her life so that maybe the creator of the game will chose one for the new edition and give her career a boost. And Curtis seeks advice on how to say, "I love you" from comic book store employees, drunk powerful women and the game creator himself.
Picking up three months after the first season left off, we see Curtis and Cynthia's relationship in full swing as they, Chris and Eric grapple with making their lives and the gaming session with their idol...epic.
