In this movie Macha Méril has nude scenes at 72. "I said to myself that a naked woman of my age, it was more moving than seeing a shapeless nymphet. Sculptors, painters have never chosen nymphets as models. And then, to get naked at 72 years old, it's a manifesto. Me, I don't want to hide the reality: our body is the result of the life we have led. Showing it is a way of affirming what we have is." On the set, Macha was the one who put everyone at ease: "It was very nice. I didn't get dressed between shots and that set the tone. By my relaxed demeanor, I obliged all actors have the same simplicity."
