Temporada Seca (The Drought) tells the story of Domingo, a Mexican indigenous farmer who is grief-stricken at the passing of his wife and the loneliness and poverty that have since overshadowed him. With an atmospheric camerawork, minimal dialog and solid sound design, the film sweeps the viewer along the mental state of Domingo while he makes a desperate effort to end the climate of decimation that has permeated his life.
