Exclusive: Fauda and Gladiator II star Lior Raz is set along with Havana Rose Liu, Jean Reno, and 2x Emmy nominee Tovah Feldshuh for Daniel Roher’s upcoming crime thriller Tuner from Black Bear.

Leo Woodall and Dustin Hoffman were previously announced to lead the feature, based on a script from Roher and Robert Ramsey. Production started this past week in Toronto.

Tuner tells the story of a talented piano tuner (Woodall), whose life is turned upside down when he discovers that his meticulous skills for tuning pianos can equally be applied to cracking safes in this jazz-infused crime drama about love, loss and the lengths we’ll go to for the people who matter most. The film is being produced by JoAnne Sellar and Lila Yacoub, with Black Bear representing international rights. Elevation Pictures is co-producing and will also release the film in Canada. Debra Zane is casting the picture.

Exclusive: Luber Roklin Entertainment has signed actor Nick Zano for management.

Currently, Zano can be seen leading the Netflix action comedy series, Obliterated, created by Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald, the team behind Cobra Kai. The show follows an elite Special Forces team who successfully defuse a terrorist network’s bomb in Las Vegas. However, after celebrating their victory with a wild night of partying, they discover that the bomb they thought they disarmed is still live, and they have to race against time, while severely hungover, to save the day once again. Zano plays Chad McKnight, the team’s brash and charismatic leader.

Exclusive: Luber Roklin Entertainment has expanded its team with the addition of Joe Bello and Mike Griffin as managers, Deadline has learned. Both will be based out of the company’s Los Angeles office.

Bello joins from Anonymous Content, where he worked as a manager for more than four and a half years. Clients he brings with him to Luber Roklin include actors Joseph Mawle (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power), Tamzin Merchant (Carnival Row), Kai Luke Brummer (Moffie), Kit Clarke (Hellraiser), Whoopie van Raam (The Meg 2), Terique Jarrett (Daddy) and Paris and Dylan Brosnan (The Unholy Trinity), among others.

Griffin joins after a six-year stint at boutique management and production firm Make Good Content. His clients include writers such as Emmy winner Dennis McNicholas (SNL), and on-camera talent such as Creed Bratton (The Office), Bobby Naderi (The Beekeeper), Mikaela Hoover (Superman), Wil Coban (The Boys in the Boat...

Exclusive: Siena Agudong (Resident Evil), Luke Eisner (Tall Girl) and Noah Lomax (The Walking Dead) are among the newest additions to the cast of The Upside of Unrequited, the forthcoming coming-of-age comedy from filmmakers Anna-Elizabeth and Hillary Shakespeare, aka The Shakespeare Sisters.

Other newcomers to the cast include Patrick Luwis (Barbie) and Matthew Sato. As previously announced, Ayvan Williams Jessica Belkin and Savannah Smith will also star.
