The mole under Tanu's chin keeps appearing and disappearing when she plays Datto.
When Kusum/Datto shows 'kabootar' to Komal (Pappi's crush) and tries to kidnap her, Datto, Pappi and Komal reach outside the house and sit in the auto prior to Manu Sharma, who in the previous shot is seen overtaking the three of them and should reach out towards the Auto before them.
The suitcase Pappi-ji carries to the mental asylum and the one he enters Manu's house with are different.
When Tanu and his ex-love are sitting at a restaurant and he reveals that Mr. Sharma is involved elsewhere, the Coke bottle changes from half-full to empty than back to half-full.
Initially when Manu tells Datto that she looks like his wife Tanu, Datto introduces herself as Kusum, a 'National-level Athlete,' but during the end when Tanu meets Datto for the first time and insults her, Datto tells Tanu that she is a 'State-level Athlete'
In the opening scenes, Tanu and Manu are meeting marriage counselors in a mental institution.
In the movie, Datto introduces herself as a student of Ramjas College, Delhi University. but most of the college-campus scenes are from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, like when she tells Manu that she has passed, the indoor sports complex shown having light and deep blue chairs is same in which Narendra Modi addressed in SRCC in 2013, the scene when Pappi is faking heart ailment and being carried by people and he sees Manu in a car calling him. Many other quick scenes are from SRCC.
When Tanu warns Chintu (the lawyer) and gives him three days to vacate the room, the poetry recited by Chintu (hasrat-e Lucknow, basrat-e Kanpur...) has a clear audio visual mismatch in his second line (the poetry does not match with his jaw movements). The line might have been altered while dubbing.
When Kusum's brother talks with the whole family and when he speaks the funny line one of the women in the background (terrace) starts laughing by covering her face.
Tanu says that Manu's house is in Mayur Vihar. However, in an earlier scene, Manu is standing on the terrace of his house and the Parikrama restaurant in Connaught Place can be scene in the backdrop, which is not visible from Mayur Vihar.
The legal/judicial process interpretation assumes that sending a divorce notice concludes a divorce and a man can proceed with the second marriage. A divorce proceeding can take up to 5 years in India.
Tanu and Manu were married for 4 years; when she returns to Kanpur, Rikshawala mentions he got married after Tanu did, yet he has a 5-year-old daughter.
When Chintu's character is introduced, Kusum's uncle says Chintu is from Kanpur, but in the next scene Kusum calls him Rampurwala.
When Raja is telling Tanu about Kusum, he said that Kusum is his fiancee, but actually they are not engaged.
