Without even knowing actual facts of civil war, I can clearly say that this series is trying to favor confederation side of civil war. It's trying to show how week and bad u organized northern/union/federal forces were compared to confederate forces.. entire series it was showed the strength of confederate side while putting down the opposition side.. it's completely biased.. not sure what the intent there..
On top of that.. narrator was using northern/union/federal and confederate/rebel/confederate union terms interchangeably every second to keep track of who he is talking about.. he was mentioning general names but not who they belong to while depicting it.. it's sooo frustrating to follow..
Conclusion I got from this series is.. it's really bad and weak what Abraham Lincoln did compared to confederate side and luckily he won the civil war..
It's a good watch for people who support confederacy and frustrating for the people who likes equality..
I can only imagine what Abraham Lincoln was going through being a president.. deal with this and achieve emancipation proclamation. Much respect for him..
