As Greece prepares to face a long and challenging period of uncertainty, insecurity, and economic decline, two unlikely companions have a chance encounter. On the one hand, Diomedes, a streetwise intellectual and struggling director, is forced to take on odd jobs to make ends meet. On the other hand, Aristides, a meek office drone and unfortunate cuckold, suddenly finds himself without a job, without a wife, and penniless. Together, the two bitter outcasts team up against an unseen but all-powerful foe, wandering through beautiful and sometimes desolate summer landscapes in search of a vision. Finding redemption would be nice, too. Travelling along in a mournful hearse, both explorers of the unknown yearn for closure and a transformative change that will bring them a better life. That's all very well, but will they ever discover their magic hour?
