It's OK

Not being particularly well-versed in short films of any type, I was floored by the impact that Released made on me in such a short time. Aside from one simple phrase, and some cheering from a crowd, the entire film is shot in silence. This is, one, a brilliant directing style from Aaron Daniels, because it allows you to really find the meaning in the film for yourself. It is also an incredible choice because it leaves all of the story telling up to the raw emotion and acting talent of Billy Racer. Billy Racer, being the main character we follow in the film; Nathan, does a fantastic job in bringing up emotions in the audience that some full-length feature films with dialogue can't even draw out.

All in all, this is a incredibly well directed and acted short film that is highly worth watching. I look forward to seeing what this director and actor have in store for the future.
