Watched this at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.
With a really interesting concept, the movie offers some genuinely interesting concepts and ideas, yet, feels a little messy. The filmmakers clearly have a creative concept about the approach of love relationships and technology. To which the narrative, while does get a little unfocused on some of the themes and structures, does provide some interesting components to engage with. The performances from Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun are really good as Stewart and Yeun have really good chemistry between one another.
There are some good uses of computer effects, editing style and color presentations. There are uses of animation throughout and honestly, the animation looks fine but it does feel like something from a cheap mobile app design which was a little distracting. There are some good dialogue moments but some moments feeling a little too fake. Some of the editing choices were a little annoying.
For sure, the movie is definitely creative and while I wished the movie was a little more focused on some of the themes and certain aspects did feel too slow, I still was invested because of Stewart and Yeun's strong chemistry and the filmmakers being able to create something that is different.

Super thriller movie. Block buster level . Has so many twists and second half is totally made silver screen to gold. Every thing is very good . Songs ore bit odd but the script screen play everything connected exalently . And I will watch again and again. Good aslo if there was a chance to meet the writer I would appreciate him a lot . Good movie. Great job by the team . And the glimpse for sequel movie is also good. Waiting for that update. And the climax topic was whole next level. So many twists whichade story very gripping and I was very curious about sequal for samuktha menone acting . A great job by the team.

I don't want to impede on any one's summation or evaluation of this film. I found myself enjoying it and wanting to watch again.
What did I miss? What did I over examine
Kristen and Stephen are immaculate. If you don't consume this with irreverent exuberance, then I feel melancholy for you. You are not special you are not unique.
Everything that seeps from your lips is pretentiousness. My wife told me it was described as an emo Wall-E and I find that extremely accurate. Society is crumbling. If you dispute that fact, then I weep for you. This is beyond politics or semantics.
I single bullet displacing our spines would suffice. There is no limit to our inconsequence. Enjoy.
