Malice is an original and innovative series with great direction, beautiful photography, stellar performances, amazing special effects, and great sound design that draws you in and holds your attention from the on-set. Malice is about the Turner Family and their supernatural adventures in an old Virginia house. Nate Turner, (Mark Hyde) is a Navy SEAL who has just returned from a combat tour in Afghanistan to reunite with his recovering alcoholic wife Jesse (Leanna Chamish) and his two daughters Abbey, age 17 (Rebekkah Johnson), and sixteen year old Alice (Brittany Martz). The family inherits the house where mom grew up after Jesse's mother passes away and they all decide to relocate hoping that a change of venue with a new community and school will salvage their troubled lives. The action starts on the very first day after they arrive as strange and mysterious happenings start to manifest around them from the very foundations of the house. Ghostly figures peer through the windows, the plumbing goes haywire, strange foreboding writings and warnings appear on the walls, and then Mom wanders off in the night and vanishes. A few days later Dad and older sister Abbey also go missing and then it falls on the shoulders of Alice, with the help of a mysterious stranger, Jed Spry (Matthew James Gulbranson), to solve the mystery of what happened and why. I thoroughly enjoyed Malice and I can't wait for the upcoming sequel 'Metamorphosis!'
