This is one of those things nobody asked for but somebody has to ask to cancel. Actually, there was never a reason to exist in the first place. The original Blake Holsey High, a Jim Rapsas creation, had an average 1.3 million viewers in the U. S. and Canada every week. The first short of "Echoes" had only 6,000 viewers and the last one 1,600. But let's say something about the production itself.
Where do I begin? Let's say the cast. Mr. Rapsas, the original cast of Blake Holsey High was something that happens once in a lifetime. Emma Taylor-Isherwood, Shadia Simmons, Jeff Douglas, a dream of a cast. They had magic. Magic, Mr. Rapsas, the kind that only a person who followed the show in the 2000's could perceive. Instead, "Echoes" features in its first two shorts a couple of George Romero's school dropouts who give the misleading impression that someone's going to kill the other at any moment. Seriously, when one of them walks through the room, the floor begins to crack like it was going to break into pieces.
And what about the writing? The original show was nominated twice for an Emmy Award for best writing of a children's show episode. And now you give us things like the short #4 starring a guy who babbles the most boring summer camp sci-fi story ever, with you, Mr. Rapsas, as the interviewer who doesn't dare to show the face. Every script feels like one of those fanfiction crap stories that flood reddit, wattpad, you name it.
And the manufacturing. "Echoes" looks like a failed high school sociology project who deserves a D, for Pete's sake. What a shame, Mr. Rapsas. The best thing you can do is to wipe this thing out of the internet. There's no need to try to ruin your own work. Because not even you can ruin the memories of what you acheived from 2002-2006. Not even you. Thank God.

Having been a fan of the original series Strange Days at Blake Holsey High, I was excited when the web series Echoes appeared.
It was clear from the start that this series intended to continue the story, bringing it into the present day.
As the series progresses - Jim Rapsas, series creator, brilliantly weaves in past storylines and then connects new characters with original characters. The series has all the twists and turns of the original series.
The return of the original characters as the series continues serves only to heighten the excitement and mystery that pervaded the original series. I cannot wait for further episodes and eagerly await the appearance of more original characters!
This was a series that deserved a longer life. As more people catch on to this gem of a series, I can only hope it has a long life and dare I wish it - a reboot of the original series! Thank you, Mr. Rapsas for giving the show a new life! Well done!

What a wonderful experience it was to see Strange Days at Blake Holsey High return with "Echoes"!
The series does a great job with its new characters as well as having a few familiar faces grace the screen.
As in the original series, the writing is solid, the score is perfectly matched to the reactions of those onscreen and the plot lines are carefully interwoven to keep the viewer engaged throughout.
I look forward to seeing new episodes arrive in the future that advance the characters - both those established in "Echoes" and those from the original series.
It is great to see that creator Jim Rapsas has taken such care of this series from its origins to the present and can't wait to see what is up next!

If you were one of those who eagerly waited for new episodes of this offbeat, engrossing Saturday morning tv series during its original run in the early 2000's on NBC, the idea that it actually came back after being off the radar for so many years is a small sort of miracle. This series takes chances. It introduces new characters and tells stories in a lot of different ways. But it also stays true to the spirit of the original series without attempting the impossible task of replicating it. And when the characters we grew to love watching this show start to return, that's just a pure nostalgic delight. Welcome back and please keep going.

As a Huge Fan of Black hole high , Echoes met my expectations & Never failed to make me and (other fans) feel the same excitement , for sure many things have changed and the series has some new angles to focus on..but it has the same Ambiguous plots , Enigmatic characters , Thrilling events related to Science & Science Fiction (based on Scientific facts from reality) , all these things and more made you feel the best shivers.
I love it Episode by Episode from (Iris) the Astronomer ,Impingement and the idea of alternative and collidinig universes ( Hanna) episodes and her mysterious character and I like this sweet girl (Andie) that appears many times with Unanswered Questions.
Ofcourse all the episodes that include a Beloved Cast member from the original Black hole high are amazing.
We are so Thankful for Mr Jim & Everyone who puts effort on this great work , Hope we will see more.
My Love to all the family of Black hole high & Echoes❤

I grew up watching Strange Days at Blake Holsey High on Discovery Kids. My parents and sister soon joined in to watch with us and after a while we would make sure to schedule our time around when the new episodes were coming out so we could watch them together. When the show finished, it was like it got erased from existence. My sister and I would scour the internet trying to find it. Imagine my surprise when I found out there was a web series.
Watching Echoes was like seeing an old friend who I had lost contact with for a while but we had finally been reunited. Hearing the original spooky Blake Holsey music gave me goosebumps. Seeing old cast members grown up? It felt like we were at some kind of reunion and I am seeing what they've been up to.
The show isn't the same as the Blake Holsey of the early 2000s and it's not trying to be. It's Blake Holsey for our generation, showing what happens when you grow up and are brought back by strange events. It's introducing us to people who we didn't meet and we get to see how their stories weave into the past. I am so excited to see what happens next.
Mr. Rapsas, thank you for bringing my childhood back to life and opening this next chapter for Blake Holsey.
