The meddling grandmothers of Sahra and Deniz have decided enough is enough. Their two grandchildren were the best of friends growing up, until one summer when it seems that they could have been more, and afterwards it's clear to everyone that they are avoiding one another. Sahra has a rival at work and is desperate to get an exclusive interview with a reluctant and reclusive photographer. Coincidentally and unbeknownst to Sahra, Deniz is the reclusive photographer she is desperate to interview. The meddling grandmother's bring the two to their neighboring homes at the same time to attempt to get them talking again...and ultimately nature takes its course.
Ekin Koc, who plays Deniz, really makes this movie for me. His character is very romantic and how he shares his continued love for Sahra just squeezed my heart. Absolutely gorgeous seaside backdrop for this romance and Ayça Aysin Turan who plays Sahra is lovely.
I think fans of romance will enjoy this story and it is a recommendation to those romantics who are ok watching a film in Turkish.
This review is based on watching this film in it's original Turkish language with English subtitles.
