Nominations for the 35th Annual GLAAD Media Awards were announced on Wednesday, with more than 300 individual nominees represented across dozens of categories.
“At a time when the LGBTQ community is under attack by false narratives and misinformation … this year’s nominees powerfully reflect the realities of LGBTQ existence today, in our communities and around the globe,” GLAAD President & CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said in a statement. “The stakes have never been higher to maintain the progress of LGBTQ visibility and representation across all media, from film, television, music, journalism, publishing and more.”

Matador Content co-founder Todd Lubin has been named president of unscripted at Boat Rocker Studios. He’ll be taking over the role from Jay Peterson, whose exit was also announced on Thursday. HIs appointment is effective immediately.
Peterson will remain with Boat Rocker as an executive producer for several months, to support the transition to Lubin and delivery of current projects. In his new role, Lubin will lead the Company’s creative unscripted efforts, including series and documentaries, overseeing Boat Rocker’s Matador Content, Maven, and Proper Television production shingles. Based in Los Angeles, Lubin will report directly to Boat Rocker Media chairmen David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg.

Bianca Del Rio, winner of “Drag Race” Season 6 and host of “The Pit Stop,” will lead Hulu’s new “Pride Never Stops” pass the mic campaign.
The streaming platform is livestreaming five major pride marches throughout the month, including three nationwide on June 25, as part of its Pride Month coverage.
“You can tune in and see livestreams of some of the nation’s largest Pride marches,” Del Rio says. “We’re getting it out there. If they’re trying to stop us in certain areas, at least we’ll be able to watch it from our homes and show our pride.”
Among the cities covered will be New York, Chicago and San Francisco.
The initiative will include influencers across the country who will serve as digital correspondents for their cities. Their videos will be woven in throughout the “Pride Across America” livestream to paint a fuller picture of Pride celebrations.

Neil Patrick Harris is reprising his role of Michael Lawson for the second season of Uncoupled, the Darren Star and Jeffrey Richman series that was picked up by Showtime after Netflix canceled it after one season.
While visiting The View to promote his Hulu show Drag Me to Dinner, Harris revealed that filming for the second season of Uncoupled is getting delayed due to the writers strike.
“Very exciting, we were going to start filming it in the beginning of July but the writers strike is happening,” he said. “So, everything is sort of on pause — go writers, writers strong. So we’re just going to wait until that plays itself out.”

New reality show “Drag Me To Dinner” will make its debut on Hulu on May 31. In each episode, two teams of drag queens will compete to see who can throw the most fabulous dinner party. The champion will be crowned by judges Neil Patrick Harris, David Burtka, drag superstar Bianca Del Rio, and Haneefah Wood. Harris and husband Burtka — who is an actor and cookbook author — serve as executive producers. Actor, comedian, and drag king Murray Hill will host the series.

The final season of “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” will premiere on Prime Video on July 14. The popular spy series stars John Krasinski who has graduated from spy to deputy director of the CIA. The cast that was unveiled at BravoCon 2022 includes Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Dana Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank and Brynn Whitfield.
Earlier this year, executive producer Andy Cohen teased the Rhony reboot during his “Ask Andy” segment before a taping of Watch What Happens Live.
“They’re super fashionable. The things that they are arguing about are as ridiculous as early Rhony,” he said. “I think it’s going to be a different show. It’s so hard because everyone is going to compare it to Rhony, which was so perfect. And I hope this is perfect in a totally different way.

“Love in Fairhope” is a reality TV romantic drama set in the small town of Fairhope, Alabama.
