The short first premiered at Alamo Drafthouse screenings of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), and a television debut on FXX soon after on May 27, 2022, the same day The Bob's Burgers Movie (2022) premiered.
The short was planned for a theatrical release in 2020 in front of an undetermined Disney film, the same way that The Simpsons short Playdate with Destiny (2020) premiered with Pixar's Onward (2020), but was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic closing down movie theaters.
