The first major UK TV series to be created through improvisation. There was no script, just a plot outline for each episode, and the actors developed their own characters as they went along. Before filming started, actors participated in an intense two-week improv and rehearsal period.
David Tennant (I) and Billie Piper, whose unconsummated love story made up the second series of Doctor Who (2005), both star in Love Life, but appear in different self-contained stories.
