As a teaser, Oliveri offered up the Vol. 8 opener “Chains and Shackles” — the first official release of a 2010 collaborative track with Slash.

The song originates as an outtake from Slash’s 2010 self-titled album and is finally receiving a proper release on Oliveri’s comp. Bengaluru, July 24 (Ians) The Karnataka High Court has issued a stay order, suspending the operation of circulars issued by the Badminton Association of India (Bai) warning players from participating in unrecognised tournaments.

The court also allowed Bai-registered players to participate in Grand Prix Badminton League (Gpbl) Season 2 and ordered Bai to not take any action against players, coaches, technical staff, and support staff.

The movie on most everyone’s lips, at least if social media is any indicator, was Trần Anh Hùng’s period drama “The Pot au Feu,” a feature that, according to TheWrap’s Ben Croll in his review, “might very well be the most handsomely shot and soothingly felt serving of art house food porn ever brought to screen. It’s about to become your mother’s favorite film, and it’s an absolute delight.”

But before the screening started, as Variety reported, a demonstration in support of Indigenous land rights took place on the film’s red carpet. It was led by the directors and actors of “The Buriti Flower,” a film showing in Un Certain Regard directed by Portugal’s João Salaviza and Renée Nader Messora.

World premieres for some of the global streamers’ biggest upcoming launches will take place at next month’s Canneseries.

Unveiled earlier today, the likes of Apple TV+’s Silo, Prime Video’s Dead Ringers and Paramount+’s Fatal Attraction reboot will be screened at the France event, which takes place concurrently with Mip TV.

They will be joined by a list including Netflix France’s Tapie, Israels Corduroy and highly-anticipated South African Studiocanal drama Spinners. Other notable inclusions are Bargain, the Korean smash that has emerged from Cj Enm’s partnership with Paramount+, Childhood Dreams from The Netherlands and Good Morning Chuck (Or the Art of Harm Reduction) from Canada.

The list, which makes up the shows for the 6th Canneseries, has more U.S. streamer shows than ever before.

Marvel Comics has been putting out Alien and Predator comics in the wake of Disney acquiring Fox, and it sounds like they won’t be stopping anytime soon. Marvel will, however, re-brand their Alien and Predator comics under a new 20th Century Studios label, THR reports.

According to the site’s report, Marvel Comics is “launching a new imprint dedicated to the storied movie studio’s properties,” with Alien and Predator being among those franchises.

Amazon Studios has put in development Tether, a supernatural drama from The Black List scribes Kevin Hamedani and Travis Betz (The Saviors), and Daniel Dae Kim and his 3Ad production company. The project was brought into the studio by Kim under his first-look deal with the studio, and it is the first project in development for 3Ad under the pact.

Written by Hamedani and Betz, the genre-bending Tether follows the terrifying journey of Madelyn Woods, a woman driven to find her kidnapped husband and son and extract revenge on those who hurt them… and murdered her. Now a ghost, and tethered to the house she died in, Madelyn must find a way to escape her supernatural prison and save the ones she loves.
