A girl stops in a motorway service station at night. She uses the toilet and while in the cubicle is aware of a man also in the restroom. She becomes convinced that he is a threat to her. When he accidentally drops his bloodied knife and it slides into her cubicle she becomes certain of this.
Emergency Stop is too short to really make too much of an impression. Although it's fairly atmospheric for what it is. It has a kick in the tail at the end which may not be entirely obvious on first viewing. But overall it would have been more worthwhile if it had been fleshed out a little more. It's difficult making a thrilling film at this length as it takes an audience a little time to get into the right frame of mind. So for this reason it doesn't truly work but it's still pretty decent nevertheless.
