The "Norco" joke was only added for the directors sister because she lives there. Linda specifically wanted a joke that her sister would know was meant for her only.
Linda wrote the script with 'Julia Silverman' in mind for the Fortune Teller. The producers decided to go with a big name actress and Linda talked Julia into the Marilyn Monroe role. When they didn't get a name that would work, Linda ended up casting Julia as the Fortune Teller as well.
When the actor originally cast as "Mason" backed out the first day of shooting, Frank Gangarossa was cast as the Homeless Guy. He was the casting directors first choice for the role originally.
The Halloween Party Soundtrack won Best Soundtrack at the Laughlin International Film Festival in October 2012.
Opening title song, "Voodoo" written by CJ Watson and Bruce Michael Miller was a 2013 Oscar contender for Best Original Song.
