This donghua has some really fun action and the music is just amazing. I love the development of the main character, Long Haochen. He is just sooo adorable in his childhood and even as a teen, he doesn't lose that cuteness! The other characters like Lin Xin are hilarious and cool at the same time.
The show maybe more easily understandable for novel readers but the first few episodes do an excellent job in taking the viewer through the world building. If you are looking for lovely animation, intense action and fantasy elements combined with a Knight's chivalry, this is the show for you.
The light sprinkle of added romance is just the cherry on the top. It is so pure and cute. And this is true for the main couple and the other pairings in the show. This series is also by the writer for Soul Land so the storylines may seem similar. However, these have their own unique points as well. This is as much as I can say without giving spoilers.
