Over the last few night's I've been catching the Friday the 13th marathon on AMC's Fearfest. It's kind of a tradition.
AMC has also announced the release of a series of Mini-Docs', which feature one major human fear per episode. One mini documentary stars horror favorite Bill Oberst Jr. If you don't happen to have AMC or don't get a chance to catch it, you can check out the embedded video below, as well as a list of links to the other episodes.
Oberst Jr. first appears at about :50 into the episode (embedded below), identified as "Elliot Cruise, E.T. Expert". The episode first "Invasion" aired tonight during a break in Friday the 13th: The Final Friday.
For more details about the 10 terrifying docs, check out the details below.

Director: Charles Band. Writers: Charles Band and Kent Roudebush. Cast: Jessica Morris, Ariana Madix and Eric Roberts This reviewer visibly cringed when he read the title on the latest parcel to enter the 28Dla offices. The package was from Full Moon Pictures and the film inside was The Dead Want Women. So, immediately, you know you are in b-movie territory. Despite director Charles Band's 200+ filmography, he is essentially known, to this reviewer, as producing films that are meant to titillate male audiences (and some females). The barest of plots inhabit films such as Evil Bong and Killer Eye: Halloween Haunt. And The Dead Want Women is no different. In the film's defence, the early scenes seem well rehearsed and the characterizations seemed thought out. However, it is a downhill slide from here on out. In the first ten minutes, there is a simulated sex scene involving two flapper girls...

Title: Killer Eye: Halloween Haunt Directed by: Charles Band Starring: Erica Rhodes, Olivia Alexander and Chelsea Edmundson Running time: 71 minutes, Not Rated Jenna asks her four hot girlfriends to help her decorate her mom’s house into a Halloween Haunt, they decide to hang out and party afterward by drinking, getting scantily clad and watch a DVD: The Killer Eye. Somehow the film breaks the 4th wall and possesses the girls in order to impregnate one of them with a killer eye spawn. I really didn’t understand why this film had to be made. There was an actual Killer Eye film, which totally sucks, but the original Killer Eye movie [ Read More ]...

'Puppet Master: The Legacy' and 'The Gingerdead Man' helmer Charles Band is back with another supernatural horror for Full Moon Pictures. 'The Dead Want Women' stars hottie Jessica Morris (below) who you may recall getting topless in Paul Rudd and Sean William Scott comedy 'Role Models' a few years back. Oh and not to mention another boobies out scenario in the not-so-funny Nick Weisee comedy 'Senior Skip Day' the same year. Joining Morris is Ariana Madix, Jean Louise O'Sullivan, J. Scott, Robert Zachar and Mr b-movie himself Eric Roberts ('The Dark Knight', 'Sharktopus'). 'The Dead Want Women', which Band also co-scripted with Kent Roudebush ('Killer Eye: Halloween Haunt'), is set for a DVD and VOD release from 15 May. Check out the trailer below....

Charles Band is putting the puppets away for Full Moon’s newest horror thriller. Instead this is a tale of zombies – horny zombies. When Eric Roberts rises from the grave, it can only mean The Dead Want Women.
Jessica Morris (“One Life to Live”) and Ariana Madix (Killer Eye: Halloween Haunt) are the women the dead want in Charles Band’s The Dead Want Women.
Synopsis:
Beginning at a stylish mansion in the roaring 1920's, a socialite, flappers, and the men who love them come to their ultimate demise. These ghosts continue to haunt the mansion throughout the decade. Now they've come back to haunt and chase after a new generation of beautiful girls.
The dead include Eric Roberts, whom you will see in the trailer below back from the dead with the face of rotting yam.
The Dead Want Women is slotted for DVD/VOD release on May 15th.

Group of college aged girls messing around and having a good time while watching a cheesy horror movie have their fun disrupted when a piece of movie memorabilia comes to life and starts imitating the action in the very horror movie that they are watching.
On the surface this belated sequel to Killer Eye seems like it should have been successful. It's got gore, wonderfully cheesy special effects, babes and, of course, perfectly tasteless nudity. So where did it go wrong? Part of what made low grade horror films so memorable for the fans out there was an endearing quality that came across. It seemed like everyone involved really gave it there all and was passionate about making dumb, cheesy horror films. That's where this sequel goes wrong. It seems as...

*full disclosure: a DVD screener of this film was provided by Full Moon Direct.
Director: Charles Band.
Writers: Charles Band and August White.
Killer Eye: Halloween Haunt is the definitive entry in to 28Dla's Worst Horror Films for 2011 and this title will likely be the winner. This is a sequel to a 1999 film titled Killer Eye and if you have not seen the original, you get a second chance here. Fifteen minutes of Killer Eye is shown in this already short film of seventy one minutes. The rest of the filler is more of the erotic kind as Killer Eye: Halloween Haunt skips the story in favour of a soft core pornography weak plotline. This film is simply an excuse to get a group of young women naked.
And Charles Band should really be getting his sexual thrills elsewhere, not in film. The plot breaks down simply: four girls decorate a house for Halloween,...

'Killer Eye: Halloween Haunt' is the new b-movie horror from director Charles Band and his Full Moon production company. It's the follow-up to the David DeCoteau helmed 1999 horror comedy 'The Killer Eye' and it looks set to have just as much laughter, frights and gorgeous hot girls as its predecessor. 'Killer Eye: Halloween Haunt' stars the sexy Erica Rhodes as Jenna who gets her four fit friends to help turn an old mansion into a 'Halloween Haunt'. The hot foursome have some sexy fun and mistakenly let loose the rapey eyeball. The movie co-stars the voluptuous actress and model Olivia Alexander, the stunning Ariana Madix, Chelsea Edmundson and Lauren Furs. Check out Rhodes, Alexander and Madix as well as the cooky little trailer for the flick below!...

Hollywood just doesn’t make enough movies about horny alien eyeballs that shoot lasers and stalk nubile young women in search of prime breeding stock. That’s why the world needs filmmakers like Charles Band and movies like Killer Eye: Haunted Halloween.
I’ve already written regarding my near disbelief that Charles Band would even be interested in making a sequel to the 1999 softcore stinker The Killer Eye, a movie about an inter-dimensional eyeball looking to procreate. I seem to recall Jacqueline Lovell naked hentai eyeball action being the only thing worth watching in the 1999 Full Moon flick The Killer Eye. Did that movie go and develop a cult following while I wasn’t looking, or does Charles Band just instinctively understand that one doesn’t need a good reason to make a movie about hypnotic disembodied eyeball rape?

Charles Band, the head honcho at Full Moon Pictures, steps behind the camera for Killer Eye: Halloween Haunt, a sequel to the 1999 flick from director David DeCoteau. I have to admit, this looks fun, almost like an updated version of Terrorvision. Catch it on video this Halloween!
When Jenna asks her four hot girlfriends to help convert an old mansion into a Halloween Haunt, they decide to party instead! Things get steamy between the girls, until they accidentally unleash the half-pint, horrible Killer Eye, a perverse party crasher from beyond. Bent on having his way, the Killer Eye will stop at nothing until he gets exactly what he wants.
