The screenplay was written collaboratively by 16 writers. Using the "Exquisite Corpse" game as a template, 16 different story beats were assigned to a different artist working with Forest Fringe's collective. This collaboratively written first draft was then re-written by Deborah Pearson into a film ready script, with extensive contributions from Andy Field and script editing from Morgan McBride.
