Thought provoking, real life ups and downs and dealing with daily issues created by a single mother (Amy Ledbetter as April) trying to raise a son and earn a living and the strife that goes with a son in high school learning to fit in and the drama that goes with it.Plus an habitual drinker (Del Zamora as Rodrigo) who doesn't know why his old love had moved out of state, only to return and enter back into his life to reignite the old flame, but it comes with surprises. Rodrigo the car salesman can't quite seem to get his alcoholism under control, even with weekly AA meeting he attends and the great message he presents as Thursday's Speaker. Lots of young new talent do an amazing job in threading all elements together. A must see.
