Person, Place or Thing is coming to first-run syndication this fall. The new game show, hosted by Melissa Peterman (Young Sheldon), is a modern take on 20 questions where contestants ask yes or no questions to get their partner to reveal an item.

Produced by Fox First Run, the new show has been sold in 90% of the country. It will debut in 161 markets on Fox-owned stations as well as on stations in the Sinclair, Nexstar Media Group, Gray Television, E.W. Scripps, and Tegna groups.

Fox First Run produces other syndicated programs like 25 Words or Less, Dish Nation, Divorce Court, Pictionary, TMZ, TMZ Live, and You Bet Your Life with Jay Leno.

Seven years after her acrimonious firing from The Real, the “Love & War” singer has found a new daytime home. The Grammy-nominated singer was announced as Dish Nation’s newest co-host. She joins fellow newcomer Jessie Woo, and longstanding co-hosts Da Brat, Headkrack, Gary With Da Tea, and Tanner Thomason.

“It’s something that I used to dream about when I was a little girl. According to multiple sources, she was in and out of hospitals as medical professionals tried to figure out what, exactly, was causing symptoms like nonlinear speech, memory loss and even hallucinations. Sherri Shepherd has nothing but praise for Wendy Williams following the news that The Wendy Williams Show is ending.

Shepherd, who is set to take over the slot with a talk show of her own in the fall, appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen Wednesday.

“She made her own path, but what Wendy does nobody can re-create,” Shepherd said.

"I love her fearlessness, and that is something I want to emulate and keep going. She opened a lot of doors and she’s up there with the greats.”

Sherri Shepherd has officially been named as Wendy Williams’ daytime-tv replacement. The “Dish Nation” co-host and alum of “The View” has filled in for Williams as part of a rotating cast of guest hosts. She’ll now get her own talk show, starting in Fall 2022.

“Sherri,” which will tape in New York, will be distributed by Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury. It will take over the “Wendy Williams” time slot on Fox owned and operated stations. Shepherd will produce the show alongside Jawn Murray and showrunner David Perler.

The new syndicated series, titled “Sherri,” will slide into the Fox O&o time slots that are currently held by “The Wendy Williams Show,” as the hit gossip queen, Wendy Williams, continues to be in recovery for health-related issues.

“Sherri” hails from Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury, the same company behind “Wendy Williams.” Many production staffers from Williams’ talk show, including her executive producer, will move over to Shepherd’s show in the fall.

Currently, “The Wendy Williams Show” is still in production and airing live shows with rotating guest hosts — including Shepherd, who has been a fan-favorite and highly-rated guest host throughout this season. Williams’ show will continue with guest hosts until in finishes its current season, though an end date has not been determined.

Fox Television Stations has renewed syndicated mainstays 25 Words or Less, Divorce Court and Dish Nation through the 2022-2023 season.

In announcing the two-year renewals, Fox stations programming chief Stephen Brown said the company sees “nothing but growth ahead” for the slate of what he called “reliably strong, feel good programming.” In addition to the three shows being re-upped, Fox’s portfolio also includes the forthcoming new version of You Bet Your Life hosted by Jay Leno.

Hosted and executive produced by Meredith Vieira, 25 Words or Less had a successful test in summer 2018 before entering syndication in fall 2019. The half-hour game show is cleared in 98% of the U.S. and its ​executive producers include Lisa Kudrow, Dan Bucatinsky, Mary McCormack, Michael Morris, showrunner Michael Canter and Bruce Sterten, creator of the 25 Words or Less and Taboo board games. The show is produced by Dino Bones Productions and distributed by Fox First Run.

Beauvais is joining the syndicated talk show, following the departure of Tamera Mowry-Housley, who announced earlier this summer that she had decided to exit the show after six seasons.

The seventh season of “The Real” kicks off on Sept. 21. The panel will feature Beauvais, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Houghton.

Fox Television Stations has cut a broad renewal pact with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution that calls for four returning series to be reformatted to allow them to run seamlessly without commercial breaks between shows.

The renewal pact covers “Extra,” “TMZ, “TMZ Live” and “The Real.” Fox Television Stations will eliminate the traditional commercial break stuck between the end of one show and the beginning of the next. That will require some reformatting from Warner Bros. to incorporate series credits and production credit slates in a compressed-screen format that airs as part of the final seconds of the program rather than running in a traditional end credits.

The commercial minutes lost from the elimination of the break will be worked in elsewhere, either by adding more spots to the existing pods or by the addition of a new break within the program.

Much of Sunday’s Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion part three centered around the tight friendship between Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks — which both women stood by even after many in the cast claimed the two were in an alliance for the Bravo cameras.

But by episode’s end, it appeared a fracture had appeared in their bond when Williams threw Parks under the metaphorical bus of sorts — claiming Parks had been the one who told her that Kandi Burruss and husband Todd Tucker had planned on drugging Wiliams and their mutual friend Shamea Morton one night in order to take advantage of them sexually.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is capping off its explosive ninth season with a history-making four-part reunion. And on Sunday’s first episode, stars Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, Kenya Moore, Porsha Williams, Cynthia Bailey and Shereé Whitfield didn’t waste a minute jumping into the drama.

Here were five of the night’s biggest revelations.

1. Burruss Got Breast Implants

It shouldn’t be a shock to hear that a Real Housewife has had plastic surgery. But during Bailey’s breast rejuvenation consolation with her surgeon earlier this season, Burruss said that four of the six Atlanta Housewives had breast implants.

It’s hard to believe it’s been over 10 years since Bravo premiered its Real Housewives franchise. Conceived as a real life soap opera and named after the popular ABC show Desperate Housewives at the time, the initial outing — 2006’s The Real Housewives of Orange County — became such a massive hit, it spawned eight shows in the United States alone.
