I was every excited since the time of announcement of this series. Specially I was looking forward to watch the Siddharth working with Rohit Shetty. After binge watching this, got to say that being disappointed is quite an understatement.
This is an age old Cat and Mouse between the good guys and the bad guys. Even the storyline is repetitive and this should've been at most 4 episode series but it's been painstakingly stretched to 7 episodes.
The only good spot is watching Siddharth Malhotra as a Cop. He eases into the role and looks actually good with his dialogue delivery. Rest of the cast is great too. Unfortunately the storyline has made everyone look so ordinary.
Another bright spot is the message in the series. Some sequences are really great and we as a country need to understand those points.

Straight flat movie, climax, main scene dialogues are copied from Baby and other spy movies/web series like "tu khud bhi marega, mujhe bhi marwayega", conversation with Minister "Covert Operation" "Fail hone ka option nahin hai" "you can disown the team" "thoda sa sirfira hai sir"
Originality is missing
Emotionally you won't connect with any character
Tried to justify terrorist that he is so because of his past of lossing his chachu (Aged old propeganda)
Shilpa Shetty and shweta Tiwari's acting is so flat and not impressive at all
I liked Sidharth Malhotra and Sharad Kelkar
Villian is not impressive at all. Even non of the territorist is impactful.
Police wears police jacket to indicate terrorists that we are police and that jacket is not bullet proof then why to wear that jacket before entering into building?
Police comes in front of main terrorist at railway station full of public and starts firing, does it happen in reality? Or our forces arrest them intelligently and try not to put innocent people at risk. No logic at all.

The moment I'm writing this review it has a rating of 8.3 with 24k accounts rating it, possibly paid rating because it is just not possible, taste in movie is subjective but still it is not possible for something so substandard be it acting, dialogue, screenplay, direction to have such a high rating, this deserves zero for wasting resources. Director wanted to showcase delhi police but nothing made connection to delhi, they failed at every front be it the accent, streets, shoddily painted autos, cars with makeshift number plates, one bald police character tried speaking two words in a local manner but still managed to mess that up. This felt like a forced effort, forced in a sense where prime paid money to the makers but makers had no heart in it, just wanted to make anything and deliver. Delhi crime series is a closest display of how delhi police actually works and carries itself. There is not a single moment in the whole web series that is worth wasting your time. Had the makers studied how the batla encounter was carried out, they could have made this series a lot better, forget how police undertakes operations, had they gone through delhi police twitter account they could have made better sense of how special cell works lol.
Created by Rohit Shetty, Co-Directed by Sushwanth Prakash starring Sidhharth Malhotra, Vivek Oberoi, Shilpa Shetty, Sharad Kelkar.
Movie Analysis.
1) As mentioned in the one-line review, the story does not offer nothing new. It travels through the same route of terrorism-based movies.
2) When comes to the technical aspect, after Circus movie, bad colour tone usage had been conceived by the team. Many day light sequences had been over brightened making a viewer discomfort. Below average VFX makes us confirm that neither there is a thorough research of a new story to be produces nor the team does not try to invest a good amount in VFX work.
3) Talking about the performance, Siddharth Malhotra had given his best performance & it would be one of the good performances in his career. Vivek Oberoi character could have been made a full length but due to an illogical situation trimmed his screen presence till Episode 3. Shilpa Shetty performance is like a carrying heavy weight which is more than her carrying capacity, a mis cast in the series. Sharad Kelkar minimal screen presence adds a cherry in the cake especially the music given for his intro scene was for me a goosebumps moment.
4) Another illogical thing noticed was, if a terrorist who perfectly plan and executes the attack, will he not have the instinct that his wife who had been apprehended by the police & when his wife calls him that she is on her way to meet him, does he cannot check her signal to confirm whether she is saying true or a lie but here I think terrorist is deeply in love with his wife.
So, a sugarcane which is repeatedly crushed to its last to get its last juice, in the same way Bollywood always crushes the saleable topic which they believe to encash & thereby raising the level of Bollywood.

Looks like Rohit Shetty has not seen ott content by other directors. He seems to be in the same zone as he use to be while making masala movies.
Same terrorist plot and brainwashed people to accomplish the blasts. A tiring chase by police and the accomplish able to escape everytime.
Vivek Oberoi has a short role to play and he does better than all the other actors. Siddharth Malhotra too is decent with his role. Shilpa Shetty is a misfit for the role, infact that character itself is not relevant. Mukesh rish has done okay too in the short role.
I tried my best to watch the series but have to give up in the middle.
There are better content available on ott, if you have time then should be spent on those.

Bad storyline..unneccessary machoism.... Sidharth Malhotra is looking pathetic as a Police Officer...I think he cannot act serious...Same goes with Vivek Oberoi.... I think he has forgotten acting....
Bullet proof jackets are like windcheater.... So much overacting and drama like typical TV shows...I think Ray Ban had been sponsor of this webseries...It is not a thriller but a over glam modelling show with typical Rohit Shetty style..like background music to put an effect that these models potrayed as Delhi Police officers are gonna do wonders....
Have some touch of ground reality...our police does a great job....but the show comes nowhere to the reality...i think like the disclaimer..creative liberty has been taken too much and too far..

Series is dumb as hell & only Neeraj Pandey can pull off such story telling. People who are giving 9 & 10 stars are paid by the production house itself. It's a marketing strategy to make it look like successful series forcefully. Rohit Shetty needs a break & work hard on the script rather than big star cast. Big disappointment from him in recent times. I rather loved his debut movie Zameen which was grounded & had a good script. This is not gripping at all & camera work too is really poor. Plenty of drone shots & shaky camera work makes watching it nauseous. Rohit has forgotten that story comes first then every other thing.
This came as a surprise.. Didn't expect this from a Rohit Shetty film terrible script, terrible plot, nothing new.. Mediocre acting from brilliant talent.
If the show is to be made, it should have atleast something different, something new.. how long will they present the same subject in different ways. Aren't people tired of watching the same subject?
The worst was no attention to detail. The special unit wore jackets but they weren't bulletproof and that kills Vivek Oberio. A terrorist reaches delhi by train before the cops reach old Delhi from Delhi itself. If directors like Rohit Shetty won't pay attention to these details WHO WILL? It's the tiny details that make a movie or show stand out.

The way Rohit highlights his name before and after each episode in big bold letters gives the impression that he feels he has created a masterpiece.
Feel sorry for the stellar star cast who could not say no to Rohit for the sake of future prospects.
Coming to the series, lack of content has been filled with meaningless lengthy car chases and lengthy action sequences, these add no value, only adding to the duration of the show.
It Portrays the Delhi police in a bad light, highlighting their incompetency who could not stop the first, second, and third serial blasts. Only successful in stopping the last few.
Rohit's foray into the small screen is better to be limited to a few because not sure to what level of intellect his shows appeal.
Less noise and more meaningful content are required in this show.
Background music is good and does help to cover the lack of content to some extent.

This Indian crime drama opens with a series of explosion tearing through Delhi. It is the work of Zarar, a bomber working for terrorist group the Indian Mujahideen. We see that he is living a double life; when he isn't working as a terrorist he is going by the name Haider and engaged to the unknowing Nafisa. The case is investigated by DCP Kabir Malik and CP Vikram Bakshi; they are joined by Tara Shetty, ATS Chief of Gujarat, where Zarar has struck previously. Over the course of the series the cat and mouse hunt for Zarar will criss-cross India and even take them beyond its borders. There will be more attacks and tragedy along the way.
If you are after gritty realism this probably won't be for you but if you want a fun series with plenty of exciting action and enjoyable characters. The major characters, both heroes and villains, are all good looking and well groomed... even vigorous chases and fights won't spoil those splendid hair-dos! There is plenty of action; this includes explosions, shoot-outs, and martial arts and over the top car chases; this is fun even if some of the effects are a little obvious. The series utilises many impressive locations... at times one could imagine it was sponsored by the Indian Tourist Board given the scenery and all historic buildings we see. The cast does a solid job; they may not exactly make the characters entirely believable but they are fun. Overall I thought this was a lot of fun and would recommend giving it a go; of course I must state that these of the opinions of an English viewer with only limited experience of Indian entertainment so the style feels new and interesting; something is less likely to be the case for those actually raised in the country or culture. The ending left things wide open for further seasons; if we get more I'd almost certainly continue watching.
These comments are based on watching the series in Hindi with English subtitles.

This is probably the worst creation so far by Rohit Shetty. And I say this as a admirer of his other works such as Singham and Golmaal.
What a catastrophic waste of time and talent. This show made Siddhartha Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi look weak bland and boring.
The costumes and props look like they were borrowed from a high school drama team. They couldn't even get the bulletproof jackets correct. The show focussed way too much on macho-ness and bravado of the characters and way too little on storyline, execution and attention to details.
Full of clichés, the show seems to have been written by ChatGpt with a prompt asking it to create a script containing all possible bollywood clichés starting from 1981. All it lacked was a sick mother and an unmarried sister.
There are much better shows available on OTT platforms with much cleverer and mature writing and intriguing plots. The makers of this show need to realize that audience has matured a lot and mediocre action sequence and VFX alone cannot keep them engaged anymore.

Had high hopes on this series because it was made by Rohit Shetty (one of my favourite Director) and starcast was also good.. Trailer was also fastatic.. But this series overall is worst infact more then worst.. The story is nothing new and story is also very very predictable.. We can't connect to this story.. The budget of this series is massive and it shows that they have shot each scene on a lavish scale but it's of no use of the story is bad.. Just an advise,, you guys should learn from TVF or Dice Media who make the shows which looks real and audience gets connected to their shows instantly and their budget is also very very less as compared to the budget of this show..

First of all, this tv series is hyped on Instagram and may be there own team members.
This shows have really a good cast and it used to be very famous during their old days. However, in this show acting of mostly all cast is 0/10.
It is really a lame story, I would say it is not even a story.
Reviews: *0 direction *lame story *0 effects *all the fighting scenes are lol.

I have started watching the series so I have to finish it but having watched web series like Family Man, Special Ops, Jack Ryan, Farzi.. This is a HUGE disappointment. Had this been a movie it would have done better, since there are so many stupid exchange of dialogues that it becomes super cringe.
You can tolerate characters not sticking to their roles for 2 hours but this is 4 and a half hours and repeated torture. I am really just watching it to complete it now. Had someone just asked this question on the set or during scriptwriting, "What would X character of a police officer/terrorist/politician do or say in this situation?" the result would have been extremely different. I feel the actors did their jobs well, but the overall tone/direction/script/dialogue didn't give them enough room to work with.

"Indian Police Force" is basically Rohit Shetty doing his thing - car crashes, hero beating up baddies single-handedly, you name it. It's got action, a sprinkle of romance, and a big serving of patriotism, but it feels like we've seen it all before.
Acting-wise, it's a mixed bag. Sharad does a solid job, but the rest are just okay. Sid, Shilpa, and Vivek do what they can, but nothing extraordinary. And yeah, you'll spot a bunch of familiar faces in the supporting roles, but they're nothing to write home about.
Overall, it's not the worst, but it's definitely not breaking any new ground. Watch it if you've got nothing else to do - it's good for killing time, but don't expect anything mind-blowing.

Rohit Shetty formula: no need to watch, no new story don't waste your time.
The prevalent inclusion of unnecessary violence and gunplay contributes to a predictable storyline, where those familiar with Bollywood tropes can foresee the progression without viewing the entire series.
On a positive note, commendable performances are delivered by Siddharth, Vivek, Shilpa, and the supporting cast. Despite the actors' commendable efforts, the film falls short in introducing a novel storyline. The recurring theme of a Muslim boy seeking revenge and subsequently being apprehended by Delhi police adds to the lack of narrative freshness. Overall, while the acting stands out, the film's reliance on a well-trodden path leaves one yearning for a more innovative cinematic experience.

First of all story is so illogical and unrealistic that annoys a lot. Direction is so bad that I can't imagine how Rohit Shetty can approve this. All the scenes are half baked. Acting wise Shidharth Malhotra and Vivek obroy tried but direction was so bad that they failed to deliver. Shilpa Shetty did nothing not even added any glamour only over acting. Scenes were so dramatic and unrealistic that it looks like focus was more on good look but not on realistic look. If this was a movie still people can watch once but 7 episodes series is too much for such bad script. Anything on ott is better then this.

After watching this, one thing is sure, the condition of Rohit Shetty's upcoming films is going to be bad. This man has taken the garbage of all his previous films and stuck it with this film. Anything is happening anywhere,no logic at all. And who talk like this in Delhi, use some brain yar , at least do some research before making this , it's not your Goa man . After see one episode you will feel it's not Delhi , everything shoot on green screen, third class VFX , I don't know what fetish this guy have with cars and yellow tone , after some time it's become unbearable for eyes, so guys if you wanna save your time . Don't see this garbage.
