The crew filmed the last scene with actor Josh Mancuso when he was trying to channel the owl by himself and having a breakdown. This was because Josh had a beard so it would look like time had passed. After filming the ending scenes, Josh shaved his face in a public bathroom at a park to a mustache only and filmed the rest of the movie like that.
Actors Josh Mancuso and Kasey Williams have acted in multiple short films together. They were friends in high school and reunited in 2019.
