Breckin Meyer says he wrote the show because: "I just wanted to write something to make myself laugh. I didn't write anything with the intention of doing a show, selling a show, doing a pilot. I wanted to write a longer-form thing, and I sat down and thought of some funny things that had happened to me in my life, and I started writing".

Goofs
Gibbs is repeatedly shown using a camera, lens or flash (or combination thereof) which is highly inappropriate for the purpose (e.g. taking a portrait photo of the new boss using the built-in forward-facing flash in a room, nothing a photojournalist would want considering the equipment he has).

absolutely great show

this show is awesome. it has made me laugh several, several times and I keep watching episodes over and over. milo and gibbs are great, but i like neal too, he's kind of an x factor, a smart guy who kind of lays low while the others go above and beyond. gibbs and tyler are kind of sexually orientated but they are still very funny because they are kind of desperate in everything that they do, while again while neal lays low, he has the hot girlfriend.

in summary, this show is great, and in my opinion is very appropriate for the family as long as it can be understood by everyone in the family.
